The Roadrunners' defense let them down on the road in Tennessee as Memphis took two of three from UTSA, snapping the Roadrunners' historic conference series win streak. UTSA's RPI dropped drastically after dropping two games, putting a lot of pressure on the Roadrunners to tighten things up to secure a regular season championship and limit the demands on their pitching staff in the conference tournament.
