The world shook in 2020. In the United States of America the survival and evolution of a society is at stake. A society that affirms the lives of Black people. The televised deaths of our people at the knee, forearms, and lethal aim of police are widely known and felt. This piece works to counter the narrative and news cycle of risk and death. We gather and keep ourselves well. Ahimsa is a 5-episode limited series audiomemoir on yoga, wellness, and Black Lives in 2020 written and narrated by Dr. Yasmene Mumby. Sound and music by Justin Mayfield. Funding made possible by Yoga Glo.
