In this episode, the hosts get down and personal as they explore the depths of mental illnesses in our communities. Too often we have ignored our mental states of mind. In our communities it's almost forbidden to talk about mental health. You're met with so many stigmas and criticisms and not enough care and encouragements. How many times have you been called crazy because you considered therapy? How many times have you been disregarded as just seeking attention? For black men it is even worst. In today's society, black men are taught not to have feelings or at least not to share them. Black men are criticized as being weak and weak minded. Because of this stigma, many mental illnesses in black men go untreated, unacknowledged, and often leads to suicide. We hope everyone is encouraged to face those dark moments by bringing them to the light. We must not continue to people who are in mental distress. Mental illness is just as real in black men as it is in everyone else.
