EP 10: Friendships - The Good, The Bad, The Truth
Why is it so hard to make friends nowadays? Let alone keep them, understand them, etc. Well, in today's episode I tell you the secret to making friends and how I've learned to maintain them through my experience. I also discussed the green and red flags to look for in friends. I compared friendships to dating and you'll have to tune in to know why I did so. Just as dating is hard, so is finding friends. Living in a world that revolves around modern technology and money and success, human connection and interaction seem like old news. But, it's not. I also discussed toxic friends which is probably what deters us from making new friends in the first place. Don't even get me started on being friends with the opposite gender and if that ever works out. Tune in! Lots of love,  Izzy

EP 8: Hot Girl Summer Recap - LIVE from the streets
Hello Everyone!  In this episode I did a quick recap of what I did over the summer hanging out with friends, meeting new people, and the craziest thing I've ever done. Well, it's crazy to me at least. With everything I experienced came a lesson learned and I tell you more about my thoughts after indulging in hookup culture, dating after a long-term relationship, and self-worth. Remember to always be safe and protect yourself if you are single and having fun! I'm so glad I'm able to share my stories and fun experiences with you guys on my podcast. Do what makes you happy and don't pay attention to what people have to say because they're going to say it anyway so you might as well do you! I have no regrets about this summer whatsoever, I'm happy that through it all I became a lot stronger and have learned so much from each experience.  Lots of Love,  Izzy :)  - Song of The Day: Red Lights - RINI ft. EP 5: Protect Your Peace - Sincerely, A Chronic People Pleaser
Hey you! I’m back and I'm here to talk with you about protecting your peace. By that, I mean setting healthy boundaries to set limits upon others to prevent yourself from getting taken advantage of and to get into the habit of clearly communicating your needs and desires. Coming from the biggest people pleaser I know, myself, it’s hard to break out of the habit of constantly working to please others. We all want the best for each other but we have to remind ourselves that we should also want the best for ourselves. In this episode, you get to know a side of me I don’t talk about too often. The side of me that is one of the most vulnerable sides. I talked about the possible causes of what led me to become a people pleaser as I dug into the psychology and reasoning behind why people feel a strong need to please others. This is something I want to work on and acknowledging it is just the first step. Lots of looove, Izzy

EP 3: The Five Love Languages
Hey you! Valentine’s day isn’t just for couples and that applies to love languages as well. Valentine’s day may be over but the journey to learning more about love is like a never-ending series. In this episode, I touched on the topic of love languages, where it comes from, what it is, and why it is important. To me, learning about one’s love language and even your own can impact the way you treat others and yourself. I find that this topic is often overlooked. Learn how to meet someone’s emotional needs and how to improve your connection. I am not a professional nor am I giving professional advice, this is just something I came across that has helped me become more insightful on my idea of love. It has helped me understand and improve my relationships with my family and close friends.  Lots of Love,  Izzy :) Love Language Quiz: 5lovelanguages.com Song of The Day: Violet - Daniel Caesar

EP 2: Insecurities - We Are Our Worst Critics
We are our worst critics, especially when it comes to body image. Sometimes we just don't give ourselves enough credit! I open up about my own insecurities and how I personally dealt with them. You can learn a lot from your own insecurities and I learned that social media plays a huge factor when it comes to struggling with body image. Is it okay to change something about yourself that makes you unhappy? Of course! But let's not forget to also change the way we treat ourselves and the way we speak to ourselves. Are you changing yourself for the right reasons? In this episode, I talk a lot about how you can embrace your insecurities and how to overcome them by becoming an optimist. I also talk about ways you can show love to yourself, including considering the people you surround yourself with. Are they a good influence on you? We all have things we are insecure about but let's not focus on the what, let's learn about the why and how we can become better versions of ourselves. You all have beautiful and functioning bodies, so give yourself (your body) a big hug for doing everything it can to help you survive! You ARE enough.
