Are sunny skies, tropical beaches and pina coladas calling your name? They sure call to us! Cuba sounds like an exotic vacation for many of us in the United States.  It has been closed to  Americans since 1962 unless you have family there.  We have seen in pictures  the beautiful beaches and the pristine restored cars that line the boulevards and boardwalks.  Now, Cuba is starting to open up a bit more for us here, however many Canadians have been traveling there throughout the years. In today's episode we meet France Champoux and Ken McDowell, a couple from Windsor, Ontario and they talk to us about the beautiful country and beaches of Cuba.  Cuba is now on our bucket list of places to explore!

How do retirees keep learning?  They go back to college of course!  In this episode we visit with  Howie  Hollander and step into the college classroom!  No dorms or cafeteria food now, thank goodness, and this college student gets to pick his topics and classes. Best of all, NO EXAMS!  What a great way for a retired person to keep learning and updated!  Many colleges and universities offer programs for the retired person to audit for free.  What subject would you pick?  Hope you enjoy this episode as much as we did!  

Meet our retired friend Jeff Fontaine!  Seven years ago, Jeff retired from South Texas and moved back to his home state of North Dakota.  This retired educator fills his days with a great second career and plenty of time to do the activities he loves.  You can catch him on his bike, kayak, or walking 27 holes of disc golf!  He talks today about disc golf and why he loves it.  We love disc golf also, so this episode is close to our hearts!

In this episode we meet Roy Allison  and Janice Pratt! These two retirees have a love for travel and they do it well!  Gone from their new home in South Carolina for months they travel around the USA and find great places to stop and stay.  No RVing for these folks.  They have a great system of finding the perfect housing for a great short term stay!  Hope you enjoy meeting them as much as we did!

Welcome to AdventuRetired! Today our guest, Elizabeth Golden from Colorado, is a superstar!  Why? After 8 spine surgeries this hiker accomplished a list item from her bucket that many can only dream about! She hiked the Camino de Santiago! Elizabeth's retirement adventure just proves to all of us that we can reach for the stars and accomplish a major goal!  Elizabeth tells us that her inspiration for the Camino de Santiago was " the ability to walk when there had been many weeks where she couldn't walk a all."  Good job Elizabeth!  Good job!
