Increase our faith, our understanding of your ways, and let us be illuminated as Light by the fruits of your Spirit more each day. Grow us in your word, in daily disciplines as followers of you, God. Give us confidence, truthful reminders that we are moving from victory, a holy priesthood of believers, standing firm in our faith with all the saints. Help us encourage one another. We confess too often we prefer our weapons, custom-made to inflict others with the curse, over your tools of grace and peace. Even now King Jesus, may we reshape the instruments the enemy means for evil, and redeem them to cultivate new life. May we prepare the way for your return. We confess we often give glory to things outside of you, that we honor others above you, that we give power to those who are not worthy, or even worse, we attempt to take all of these things for ourselves. Forgive us. We repent. We throw our crowns at your feet. They are yours anyway. Our only boast is in our weakness, for there you do your best work in us.
