Welp, I'm back 2 weeks later. The stress of the quarter life crisis was REAL. My 2 weeks are now done, I've had a week off of work, and I reflect on my decision of quitting my job. Was is a good decision? What jobs did I interview for? What job did I chose? How do you use experiences you had in old jobs in interviews for new jobs? How do you know if your interview went well? Listen to find out :)

You guys, I have spiraled. After being at my jobs for almost 2 years and not enjoying it anymore. I'm gonna turn in my 2 weeks notice... it is terrifying but it's gonna end up being great. Right?... Relate with me on all the confusing things on life, figuring out how to end a job and find a new one.
I would've had this out Monday and even recorded it but the video was giving me trouble!

I am so excited to have gotten to chat with the "Thanks, I'm Anxious!" ladies! We talk about how expectations can set you up for disappointment... Now that might sound really sad at first glance. But what I mean by that can be simple or big things. Maybe this new coffee that come out you've been dying to try it and it ends up being so gross! Or how the media portrays relationships, maybe you have an expectation of being married by 24. Maybe you have an expectation of you have to go to college and it's gonna be the best time ever. It can set the bar high.. I think you get my gist now ;). We also talk about Australia, get to know Teal, Olivia, and Jamie. And more!
Also, we did our best with the audio and I think I messed up my mic at the beginning but it gets better as you go! Make sure to check out their episode with me on Spotify, Apple, and Google Podcast.

Lately, I've been struggling with the idea of just experiencing life with not feeling a need to have a result from whatever I'm doing. This made me fall upon a few TedTalk videos that I'm have linked below! They talk about feminine and masculine energy as not being a gendered description of people. I think I could work on balancing the two and I did my best to describe what that would look like... hopefully it went well LOL.

This extremely relatable podcast is with my new friend Katie Quinn! AKA Adulting Newbie superfan. In the first half of the episode we talk about what our current job situation is like, how it's confusing us, and wondering what's next in life. It's a weird time in life these days... The second half of the episode we talk about what our current hobbies are and what we do in our post-grad life. Katie shares her podcast, book, and youtube recommendations!

I love to hear about other people's life paths and Leslie's is particularly interesting. Especially, if you are in college or doubting what you're up to in post-grad you should really listen to this episode. It's kind of funny how many times she changed her major, how many different jobs she's done, how many life changes she's had. Not funny like "wow, how did she do that" but funny in the fact that we act like life is supposed to be one straight path. You go to college and right away you'll get the job you want, and that's just not true. Life happens and you just have to be along for the ride. Thanks for coming on the episode Leslie!

My new hobby is reading and it has given me some knowledge to share among the masses. You're welcome. In this episode I talk about the new book I've picked up called "13 Things Mentally Strong People Don't Do" by Amy Morin. Mentally strong people don't give away their power. Meaning, the more you think about the person you hate the more power you give them. I know, mind blown! Mine was at least... listen in to learn more.! P.S. It's really interesting and has helped me be more forgiving and let things roll off my back.
