The content of this podcast is mostly good. I do wish the hosts would not judge characters of period novels by 2022 standards. I also wish they would quit speaking like teenagers. It’s podcast about adaptations of literature. Could you at least try to sound intelligent while you’re discussing it?

I looked specifically for podcasts that discuss film adaptations, and this one seems to be the most prolific. My issue with this one, though, is that it drags on. I had to sit through a lot of chit chat before any real analysis revealed itself. Each podcast should probably be cut down by 20 minutes in order to be remotely appealing.

I stumbled across Adaptation a few weeks ago and have already enjoyed probably 20 of their podcasts. Normally with movie adaptation discussions you either get overzealous fangirl reviews that are perhaps less objective or you get totally negative reviews ripping the films to shreds. The staff at Adaptation present mature, but fun discussions about book and movie themes, character and world development. I really look forward to seeing what's to come.

I listened to the "Winter's Tale" epsidoe and it was great. But why are there no epsiodes available on the itunes feed?
