On this episode, I sat down with two of the co-founders of Tango, to learn more about their startup and the challenges they have faced launching a business during a global pandemic. Tango aims to redefine how operations teams spread know-how, with a mission to help people be their best at work.
About Ken Babcock:
Before attending Harvard Business School with his cofounders, Ken spent five years in the Bay Area working for Uber, Atomic Labs, and KeepTruckin. At Uber (2014 to 2018), he held various roles supporting Launch, Operations, Data Science, and Product. With Dan (and third cofounder Brian), he left HBS to pursue Tango. Ken is originally from Buffalo, NY and complements the ups and downs of startup life with the ups and downs of the Buffalo Bills. When he gets a spare moment, he's probably skiing or racing to beat his NYT Mini Crossword time (currently 17s).
About Dan Giovacchini:
Prior to Tango, Dan spent 4 years investing in B2B SaaS at General Catalyst and then 7 months with Livongo (NASDAQ: LVGO) on the filing team helping them go public.

This episode offers an inside perspective on the impact of COVID-19 from a small business owner, Andrea Santucci, of Tiber Limo. Over the course of a few visits to Italy, Andrea has shown my family and I such amazing parts of his home. From the best cornettos (Italian croissants) to local neighborhoods like Testaccio and Trastevere, my love for Italy grew from the stories Andrea shared during our visits. This initially-transactional relationship quickly grew into a lifelong friendship as we now consider Andrea to be a part of our extended family.
Listen to Andrea recap the dramatic turn that this pandemic took, bringing business to a screeching halt. As he optimistically shares, the hope is that this too shall pass, and that the future is soon.
We wish to see him smiling and sharing a warm embrace in Italy soon, and look forward to a home-cooked authentic Italian meal. Thanks for listening.

Can you believe I convinced someone to come join me on my show?! Legitimacy, here we come!!! On this episode, I was fortunate to wrangle in my dear friend, Jason Blank. Jason is a widely respected attorney in the state of Florida and throughout the country. You can learn more about his practice, Haber Blank, LLP here. Apologies if the audio isn't crystal clear - with Jason always on the go, this podcast was recorded virtually in two separate locations. Tune in to hear us speak about first impressions, the current political climate, six degrees of Jason Blank separation, unconventional business ideas, and a new alternative to debates.

Welcome to my new podcast, Adam! I say new, but in reality it's the very first podcast I've created. Why did I do it? I guess you'll have to start listening to figure that out. In this very first episode I share some thoughts about resolutions, Fridays, and more. Thanks for listening!
