This podcast gives me the same feeling old Jenna Marbles weekly releases did. She’d drop something seemingly ridiculous that couldn’t possibly be entertaining then I’d hit play and find myself utterly delighted. When the podcast goes on break for a week or two, the intervening days between that Thursday and the next release Thursday are dead to me and I have to bide time re-listening to old episodes. Always worth it, 10/10.

I’m obsessed with this podcast, I love that it’s like sitting around with your friends talking about what you love and hate about something. I love that they unabashedly love things but also leave room to give criticism when necessary. I came for the twilight but stayed for the teenage books. 10 out of 10 would recommend

I started listening to this pod from the beginning after Sarah announced it on her tiktok. I’ve been following her forever since I’m also obsessed with twilight. I love hearing Sarah and Amanda’s insight on media and culture, and getting to listen in on their beautiful friendship 🥹 Got me CRYING along with them in the Prince of Egypt episode too Thank you to Sarah and Amanda for getting me to FINALLY buckle down and watch Sex and the City!!!

Came from Sarah’s TikTok many moons ago and have listened religiously since. They cover so many topics I love and somehow make me care about reality tv. Super insightful discussions, plus a funny girl talk mess-around. These ladies can simultaneously soothe me to sleep and have me foaming at the mouth for a new ep. I have started talking like them. I am actually OBSESSED.

I found you guys because I’m a fan of Sarah’s online Twilight content and recently read her book. I was surprised how many weird obsessions we share…Anne Boleyn, Bridget Jones, Fleabag, Moulin Rouge. Don’t even get me started on Abducted in Plain Sight. I love your banter, obvious love for one another and funny take on most things. One thing I’d like you to look at is Amanda’s causal use of the word “autistic” to describe someone without autism (and not in a positive or kind way). I can think of 3 times where she’s said this…first I noticed, second I cringed, third (Catching Fire ep) sent me to review in hopes that she would see it and realize its offensive. You both hold yourselves and others to a very high standard. I’m assuming you just don’t realize how it sounds to describe someone who is disconnected or missing the point as autistic. I can’t imagine either of you being as careless with any other disability. I love someone with autism and thought you should know you can do better.

These ladies never fail to make me laugh and see things in a new way! Even topics I know nothing about become my new little obsession!

I commented on one of Sarah’s TikTok’s saying that I would listen to her podcast of her thoughts and I’m so happy that she told me about Actually Obsessed!
