This is an amazing podcast!! Very well organized podcast to help actors understand how to get into the business of acting! I love the guests the come in the show and I appreciate the inside scoop given by the host Maggie Bera who is an actual actress and went to college as well. Useful tips about auditioning, getting an agent, even how to live in the city. Definitely will recommend to my drama friends who are serious about becoming actors.

I discovered the Actor Aesthetic Podcast one day on my Spotify homepage. I decided to give it a listen, and I quickly became addicted. Maggie does a great service to performers by creating resources (my favorite is the audition journal) and interviewing people who do various jobs in our industry. This podcast is especially wonderful for the pre-professional performers looking to give themselves a leg up. She really demystifies a lot of industry secrets.

Not only is Maggie is humble and SO kind, but her podcasts are extremely informative. The musical theatre world can feel secretive and clicky sometimes and Maggie does an amazing job at breaking that stereotype down. Highly recommend. Maggie’s are pretty great 😉 (sry I’m the worst)

This show has been really helpful in filling in the gaps of my knowledge of the professional theater. I had been going through a rough last couple of years after getting out of a emotionally abusive relationship and losing my dad and ultimately losing all of my drive and motivation and passion for things like theatre that I used to have. That was until my best friend Desha Murray introduced me to this podcast and what Maggie Bera does. Not only is she an inspiration to me but also has helped give me back my courage, motivation, and drive in theatre and made me realize all over again why I love it so much. It’s like falling In love with performing all over again. Maggie has and continues to inspire me daily with the podcast and her messages because it makes me be a better version of me and also do what I love and gives me strength to overcome my hardships and work harder than I ever have to be the actor I truly want to be.
