But Science Elements is spot on in creating a collection of science news stories that are interesting, rigorous, light-hearted, current, and relevant to any chemistry discipline and science generalists alike. Every podcast has a theme; listening to the speaker relate dissimilar areas of chemistry is part of the fun of the podcast. The source journal of the news story is always mentioned so you can look it up for more information. I have to admit, that the authors voice is a little dull, but he is easy to understand, and I wish the podcast was longer or included interviews or highlighted a single topic in more detail, but maybe that will come in the future. Overall, the podcast is delightful to listen to. I think chemists and scientists everywhere will enjoy it.

However, this podcast is what it is: basically a 5-10 news broadcast on the current week's latest scientific findings. If you are interested in keep abreast of the current scientific finding in all fields of science, then this short, weekly podcast is a nice addition to the more entertaining science retinue.
