You foolish Galatians

Galatians 


 	You are redeemed
 	Ways we confuse God’s gifts:

 	Pride
 	We don’t feel worthy
 	It sounds too good to be true



Galatians 


 	paidagōgos - guardian or tutor
 	Law doesn’t:

 	Save
 	Bring life
 	Show warmth of love


 	Ways we live like law will save us:

 	Hating sinful people for being sinful
 	Bragging about our “goodness”
 	Majoring on the minors


 	Stop worrying about how your neighbor is living and start living like you believe God loves you!

Galatians 

//  Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.”

-25 // Before the coming of this faith, we were held in custody under the law, locked up until the faith that was to come would be revealed.  So the law was our guardian until Christ came that we might be justified by faith.  Now that this faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian.

//  So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith
