Every Thought Captive – Think About What You Think About
30 minutes Posted May 10, 2026 at 5:13 pm.
//  Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
(Phillips)  //  Don’t let the world around you squeeze you into its own mold, but let God re-mold your minds from within, so that you may prove in practice that the plan of God for you is good, meets all his demands and moves towards the goal of true maturity.
(GMT)  //  Be careful how you think; your life is shaped by your thoughts.
-5  //  For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. 4 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. 5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
//  Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
//  give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
//  Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.
