Arik is a New Mexico State University Alumnus with a Bachelors in Kinesiology and a Masters in Physical Therapy. He currently owns and operates Almas Kitchen, and frequently engages with the university to offer students the opportunity to gain experience by working at his restaurant. We talk about his struggles of managing a restaurant during a pandemic, his faith in God, and the importance of helping others who struggle with mental health.
