Success in our schools and for our students is a direct result of the energy and commitment of Anoka-Hennepin’s dedicated employees. Each year, the district coordinates recognition for those who exceed expectations through the Above and Beyond Awards. This year’s Above and Beyond Award recipients include a list of 14 exemplar employees.

She serves on the board of directors for the Minnesota Music Teachers Association and plays in a local orchestra but Sabrina Olson knows the importance of connecting with her students is the foundation of her success. Her invitation of a “guest artist” to come to Anoka Middle School for the Arts is one indication of her student-centered approach.
