Eh
This podcast is okay for hearing about research on specific topics and it’s nice that you can get CEUs from it, but it’s so hard to listen to sometimes. They have so many random side conversations I don’t care about and occasionally they’re really cringe. I couldn’t even get past the intro of the Bilbo Baggins or whatever episode. The two female hosts are fine and pretty knowledgeable, but the male host makes me want to turn off the whole podcast sometimes. He’s rude and condescending to the women and sometimes to the guests. I think this would be a much easier listen without him.

Worth every minute
I actually started listening to this podcast while I was studying as an RBT. Now, that I’m a BCBA it’s great reuniting once again. This podcast is entertaining, humorous, and educational. Thanks for keeping me engaged from start to finish.

Awesome resource for CEUS
I stumbled upon this podcast and it quickly became my favorite resource for continuing education! It’s so accessible, there are tons of topics, and I actually have fun (yikes!) listening! Thank you ABA Inside Track team for the great content.

Great for CEUs. Solid literature reviews. The male host makes annoying, sometimes belittling comments about general content and about the female hosts (who are great and mostly ignore him while I imagine we engage in a mutual eye roll).

I’m loving this podcast
I wish I found it sooner. It’s an easy and entertaining way to learn more about topics while earning CEUs!

Great podcast for ABA
I had a lot of fun listening to the podcast; even as an RBT I was able to learn so much. And Jackie’s fun personality is awesome as well!

Episode 9 -Choices
This episode featuring Dr. Karsina was very informative. I enjoyed how the hosts had created their own experiments at home with their own children and animals to replicate the articles discussed on free vs no choice preferences. The considerations for choice selection is relevant for those with developmental disabilities because choice and decision making often needs to be learned.

Abduction Prevention Episode
I thought no only was this podcast episode interesting, but it was informative. It was interesting to learn how much you can prep your child and teach them about kidnappings/abductions and they still give in to lurers. Unfortunately lurers are really creative and it is easy to prey on children who are easily gullible. Great episode!

New favorite CEU resource!
What a gem. I am thrilled I stumbled upon this podcast while searching for last minute CEUs (😝😖). I may never get caught doing a scramble at the deadline again! Entertaining, informative, and an enjoyable listen. Plus, very affordable CEUs!

Could be more to the point
I think the discussion and review of articles is informative. It’s nice that they find the articles and go over the findings while analyzing the design as well. However, there is a lot of side chit chat that detracts from the discussion at hand, and ends up making the podcast longer than it needs to be. Reading the articles may be quicker. Would love to continue listening but with more focus on the topic.

Great way to learn and get CE’s
Throughly enjoyed listening to this podcast. Really enjoyed episodes about Women in Behavior Analysis and Cultural Competency. I also enjoyed the Live episode on Parent training. Learned a lot of new things and feel inspired to make a difference in our field. Thank you for taking the time to make this podcast! Keep up the good work.

Awesome Podcast
I just listened to episode 79 on teaching tacting. Once I saw that you had the journal articles posted I read those first then came back to the podcast. That was by far the most informative podcast I had ever listened to. Through reading the journal articles I was linked to more references which is greatly appreciated. I like the side banter I found it entertaining, I enjoyed hearing your personal thoughts and experiences as it pertained to the topic. I laughed out loud a few times especially when I was able to see that other people are experiencing the same thing. I also liked the references back to Skinner’s Verbal Behavior. I am going to read it along with a few classmates thanks to your podcast.

Episode 62
I really enjoyed the episode on asking for help and help-seeking behaviors. I liked how the purpose of each study was thoroughly discussed so that the listeners gets a sense of the importance and urgency of the research. I thought the second article on help-seeking was particularly interesting, as the researchers went to considerable lengths to transform the classroom setting to look like real-life stores. The methods and procedures described by the podcasters was vivid enough that I could visualize how the research occurred in practice. Overall, it was a great episode and I enjoyed all the Beatles references!

Very Informative Podcast
I just listened to episode 85 on observational learning. I found it very informative and helpful to understanding observation leading and imitation and how it’s applied in behavior analysis. I found Dr. MacDonald’s research very interesting and inspiring. It was just a little hard to follow some parts of it if you’re just listening so I recommend pulling up the article to follow along.

Episode 36: Research Grab Bag III
Super informative review. I loved how you included your thoughts on the research and what you would have done differently as well.

Token Economies in Action Review
This single podcast gave me some insight on 4 different articles, and provided more references for how token economies can be applied in different settings over long periods of time. The hosts did a wonderful job illustrating the benefits and limitations of token economies in their review in the beginning of the podcast, that gave me, as a new learner, a more coherent understanding of token economies and it's qualities. I love this podcast! I listen to it while I walk my dogs to supplement my coursework. It's a great way to take a break from reading, while still being engaged and learning the concepts that are prevalent in ABA practices. The hosts do a wonderful job of simplifying and summarizing articles, while pointing out their social significance, and are able to cater to new learners of aba practices.

Discussion of Different Studies
I really appreciate this podcast because of the discussion of the different articles. Sometimes reading an article can be cumbersome but I love to hear others talk about it because it makes it easier to understand.

Great podcast and easy way to get CEUs!
I really enjoy this podcast, the hosts cover such a variety of topics in the field. It’s a great way for me to learn more about a topic I’ve been curious about, deepen my understanding of topics I’m more familiar with, or learn about an application of BA that I didn’t know about before!

Good but annoying.
Great topics but the side conversations and banter are annoying. Not only that but they take up too much time away from our topic.

Show Keeps Getting Better
I like listening to this show and am pleasantly surprised every time I hear a topic that is not normally spoken about. Especially when it comes to deeper ethical issues and truly looking at client autonomy and how we need to be changing our practices to ensure we are embracing the clients individuality. Thanks for putting this out! I listen to it on my way to work and it usually puts an extra little inspiration in my day for my clients 🥰

Great podcast!
I had the pleasure of listening to Episode 91 and will definitely be moving to part 2 of the episode. It was great to hear your perspectives on Sidman’s work. I’m a current student in the ASU Master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis program- I noticed that my professor, Dr. Hahs, was on a past episode, so I will definitely be checking that out!

Excellent podcast
I listened to the episode about executive functioning and I thought it was awesome! I am working towards my BCBA certification and I felt like the material that was being present was relevant to the field of ABA and was creditable. The hosts are entertaining to and the topics are relevant. Well done!

Helpful and relevant during weird times!
I listened to this Podcast as a suggestion from my coworker. She recommended that during a time of Telehealth parent training I would gain some strategies on how to best setup my parents for success. Couldn’t agree more! I found the latest episode on working with clients and families during a pandemic to be most relevant and helpful and learned some good ideas on how to just help parents complete a days work. Thanks for the stellar episode and helpful tips and tricks! Highly recommend!!

Best way for a busy mom to earn CEUs!
This podcast has been a lifesaver. I have 3 young boys (youngest being 6 months) and fitting in the typical method of earning CEUs or attending conferences is a bit impossible right now. Enter Inside Track: I can expand my knowledge on a wide range of topics in ABA while I’m folding laundry, doing dishes- even with headphones while I’m chasing kids! Thank you for creating this amazing resource. Huge fan.
