What a week for our Real Housewives of Beverly Hills! Denise finds herself in the Upside Down… jacket. Sutton chews the scenery as she smokes a joint. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills premiere was notably light on Crystal, while hard-launching Ozempic as the season’s breakout “friend of.” The episode opened by introducing us to an only-in-Beverly-Hills menagerie of characters including Eagle Woman, Nancy Raven, and Santos The Horse from the Netherlands. Never a dull moment in the 90210! And Ramona & Margee are delighted to dig in. Erika’s therapy is not working. Neither are Kyle or Dorit’s marriages. Garcelle and Sutton expose that there is no good, right, or easy answer to the vexed question of is it better to be a working mom or a stay-at-home mom. On the RHONY finale, Ubah emerged as the season’s superhero - she said/did/wore everything right! Ubah’s hot takes were the saving grace in an otherwise bitter bowl of Erin & Sai soup. The RHOC season finale felt like a Sponcon/product-placement-palooza! Shannon pitched her butt fountain. Tamra hawked current CBD and future dildos. And Cirque du Soliel suspiciously “inspired” Gina’s circus party. And it was yet another episode spent figuring out who called who a “loser” at BravoCon. Ramona & Margee’s feelings about that storyline can be best expressed in this Heather Dubrow quote: “You are laboring under the misconception that I give a shit.” Thank god/booze for Taylor showing up to the Cirque (#ad) party as a drunken sack of Cotton Candy, giving us some comic relief, and surely birthing a new meme of her housing that ice cream cone the way Scooby Doo wolfs a sandwich.
