Who would have known? True crime and pop culture bits work together. This is the Sweet and Sour sauce of podcasting.

So, I belong to a Facebook page for people who love true crime and I recently asked for recommendations for podcasts. Brooke, herself, recommended that I give their podcast a try and I’m so glad that I didn’t ignore her suggestion, as I usually do when people self-promote. The premise of this podcast is so unusual and so satisfying that I kept listening to one after the other. I didn’t think I’d enjoy the A Side (Adam’s segment on movies and media) as much as I do! I came for the B Side, but stayed for the A Side. 😂 The hosts have such a lovely rapport; you can tell that they are genuinely friends. They’re also quite funny and I find myself repeating some of the things that Adam says. And I love that Brooke seeks out stories that are less well known but still super interesting. Great stuff; highly recommend.

It’s like going to a movie (remember movie theaters?) and getting popcorn AND candy as well as an Oscar winner every time. Thanks Adam and Brooke!

Just when I didn’t think I needed another crime podcast Brooke and Adam showed up. I can’t quit them. They are wonderful story tellers, just the right amount of extra personal stories to make it feel real. Keep it up!
