We are back baby! Releasing our Pride episode on the Fourth of July because obviously Pride is more important. Welcome back Jade to the podcast to ring in Summer '22! The time has come for another Queer in Review!! In the final episode of 2021, we go through our favorite songs, movies, and shows of the year. By favorite, we mean the all queer content we consumed this year that we could remember on the spot. We also discuss what we are leaving behind in 2021, our queer evolutions, and our five goals for the new year. We hope this episode inspires you to do some good old reflection and maybe offers you a good suggestion for what to watch before the clock hits midnight! Happy New Year!

On this episode we are talking about SCIENCE- more specifically chemistry and biology! Tristan's dear friend Thomas Kizzar (he/him/him's) joins us to discuss his experience as a queer bio/chem major in undergrad and the possible future of the chem/bio community as a whole. We apprecaite Thomas, and we highly reccomend this episode for anyone thinking about and/or purusing a career in chemistry/biology?!  Of course, your hosts end the episode by sharing their takes on Black Widow and Florence Pugh (you know we had to edit down this very long discussion.) A lovely friend Lou (they/them/theirs) joins us for this week’s episode to discuss movement and dance. We talk about how movement allows us to express what words cannot, ponder how our identities will evolve, and challenge our guest to describe their gender in three words. Finally, to end this week’s cast, your hosts talk about their queerest dreams and fantasies.  

Listen in as the wonderful Andres (he/him/his) shares his experiance growing up queer in Venezuela and immigrating to the United States. We also talk about how our idenities and expressions have evolved during the pandemic, dish about living in Pennsylvania, and attempt to name things we find inherently queer— which is surprisingly hard to do on the spot. Of course, it wouldn't be A Queer New Day without your hosts ending with a discussion on their first pop culture crushes.
