Let's tell new stories about what it quote unquote means to be Deaf. I have come to learn that it means something beautiful and unique and different from what I thought I knew. Of course it does because how could I know something until I have an opportunity to learn about it.  That's where my daughter comes in. She has opened my eyes to a brighter world and a bigger world. For the past nearly 10 years I've been learning how to be a parent and a human being from a long legged, brown eyed child. This child has made it clear that so much more exists.... a world that I could not have ever imagined. An easy world.... nah... but easy is so darn boring. Let's go....
