The Sermon on the Mount encompasses three chapters of the book of Matthew. Beginning in chapter six Jesus counsels on several different issues. This is an encouragement and example for prayer. This is a Wednesday night service from the Faith Baptist Church of Shelocta, PA.

We can not look at the Beatitudes without seeing the word "blessed." This podcast focuses on that one word.

Jesus set a high standard for preaching. He uses preaching to inspire dreams in our hearts. He stirs our hearts to serve Him. Let God burn a fire in your soul. Dream big for God.

Do you know why Jesus came? This is a simple presentation of the Gospel. We will learn that the Gospel is the death, the burial, and the resurrection of Jesus Christ for our sins. If you do not know the Lord our prayer is that this presentation will help you getting to know Him. Jesus set the standard for preaching. He did so because of the vital nature of preaching. Preaching helps us to grow as Christians. Jesus takes those Christians and uses them in many ways. One of those ways is to influence this world with those "Beautiful Attitudes" that should be in our lives.

Matthew chapter five gives us what is perhaps the greatest message ever preached. It is the Sermon on the Mount. Before Jesus preached the message He set a standard for preaching. Preaching requires a standard for the preacher and a standard for the listener. Are you set for the preaching of the Word of God?

This thought is taken from Psalm 119:75. It will help us to know where our affliction comes from. When we conclude that it comes from God we learn He has a purpose for it. May we keep our eyes on the Lord at all times.
