Although many campus residences remain closed or at a limited capacity, there will still be some students going into residence this coming 2020/2021 year. This episode is for those going off to college this year (and those going off to college in subsequent years). Today we interview Laura Storey, who is the Residence Life Services. We discuss:

• Community-building and character-building opportunities inside and outside of the residence community to get involved in
• On-campus resources to utilize and maximize
• The different ways in which some schools cultivate a sense of belonging within students
• An inclusive approach to living in residence. Being mindful of others situations, and taking initiative to make the most of the experience

• BOTH of the things listed above can be overwhelming
