God provides the Holy Spirit as a comfort and guide to us.  Jesus told us of the Holy Spirit's coming.  Do you have the Holy Spirit in you?

Are you living with Christ in your heart?  Are you showing the fruits of your salvation, fruits of your love?  God commands us to love one another, and obey His commandments.

Christians peace and joy is given to us through our belief in Jesus Christ.  Do you have peace and joy?

Are you professing your Christianity through your actions, words, and the love you have for others?

We need to make sure that we are allowing God to direct our path.  As with casting the nets, if we just do as we want, there is no guarantee to catch anything.  If we don’t follow God’s direction, it is unlikely that we will have any great effect.

Are we serving others like Christ served us?

Are you letting God shine through you?  Have you acknowledged the sacrifice that Jesus made for your life?

This example of Jesus’ compassion and God’s grace is what shines through to me.  Jesus didn’t ok the sin.  He is a God of second chances.  He allows us to learn through His grace.  The accusers didn’t stick around, because they were all convicted.  They had all sinned in one fashion or another.  It is important to note that we should correct sin when we find it out (specifically in us).  And if we point out sin in another, to do so with grace, humility, and the spirit of reconciliation.
