This week we are chatting with photographer, dancer and visual merchandise manager at De Gruchy's, Darren Huelin. We chat about Darren's love and passion for photogrpahy as well as his background and training in dance at Performers College. Darren tells us about the time he was flown out to Florida to take photos at someones wedding as well as why he took over 20,000 photos at one of his own recent holidays. We chat about life under lock down, which for Darren invovled the purchase of a new home as well as how much he loves eating cheese on toast at 2am. We also touch on some of his favourite experiences including his soft spot for the Hulk roller coaster in Islands of Adventure, in Orlando, Florida.

This week we are chatting with former Vic College head boy, Callum Stuart Main Gillies. Callum is currently based at the University College London as a Proton Therapy Physicist - helping to treat cancer patients within the state-of-the-art facility. With having fairly well known parents on the island, it will come as no surpirse that when not helping to treat many serious conditions, in his spare time Callum can often be found performing with his swing band Down for the Count and even managed to help secure his Dad a slot at Ronnie Scott's in London. The big question though...why does Callum own a skimpy pair of purple Primark hot pants?

As a firefighter for over 25 years, we talk about his plan 'B' and how he became involved in aerial Photography back in 2017. Originally, as a part time business on the side Marc wanted to earn enough money to go skiing each year - so how many skiing holidays has he made? We also talk about winning awards early on, being invited out to Saudi Arabia and the fact that he is almost completely self-taught!

Joint Principal and Artistic Director of Bird College Conservatoire for Dance and Musical Theatre Mr Luis De Abreu chats about how different life is today for the performing arts students. As a former student himself at the very same top london college, he talks about the importance of giving and taking opportunities as well as having access to the arts and drama.
