Have you ever wanted to rule over your own nation? On this episode of A Brothers' Creed Podcast we talk about some of the most interesting micro nations around the world. Throughout modern history there have been some people that have started their own small countries. They do this as a hobby, an escape from regulations, gather and house like minded people in a search for freedom, or to just own their own little piece of paradise. Regardless of the reason we explore some of these micronations. We both share the story of SeaLand, which was an old WWII ocean fort that was build by the British to fight off incoming German bombers. As this was built in international waters Roy Bates laid claim to one of these abandoned forts in the middle of the ocean and created his own country with its own flag, passport stamp, and even football club. Ethan then talks about a 3 acre lot of land in Nevada that a man has claimed as a country called Molossia. Molossia has its own currency, president, jail, and a population of 35. Lastly Jared shares about an exotic micro country in the Czech Republic that is ruled by a "Head Mistress" and fulfills the fantasies of some while enslaving others.
