This is by far the best Braves podcast around. I hope they find a way to continue even though The Athletic seems to have canceled the show.

Never disappoints. DOB and EOF always manage to touch on the topics and reflect on the game situations that stuck in my mind. No filler. Candid and blunt when warranted. No excessive repetition of the same points. And most importantly plenty of humor!!

Best Braves Pod

Podcast has great conversations and information for the Braves. But it’s just hard to listen too… Hosts have so much background noise and sound is terrible. Lead host sounds like he is running a marathon and his breathing into the mic. the entire time.

I listen to a lot of general baseball podcasts (The Atheltic shows, Jomboy Media, etc.) but I love having 755 Is Real for a more focused Braves source. DOB and Eric have great rapport and bring a lot to the table. Highly recommend for Braves fans.

DOB and Eric OF are outstanding, very knowledgeable, entertaining and informative. Always look forward to listening to their unique perspectives and sharing their experiences.

Been waiting for something like this since I was 5. David’s baseball and Braves knowledge are elite and seamlessly complemented by Eric’s takes that you can tell come from years of experience on the field and in a baseball locker room. These guys are awesome. Touch on everything that knowledgeable baseball fans should be paying attention to.

Dave and Eric, you guys put the perfect combination of information and insight and you do it so well. I look forward to listening to all of your future sows and you guys are better than the other podcast shows by a landslide!! Go Braves!!

I listen to ever episode and I love every single thing about this podcast, except one thing… David O’Brien has to stop stop berating callers when they ask a question he doesn’t like. As someone who lives in the heart of south GA (Vidalia to Statesboro area), respect is huge with me and people around me, and these kinds of responses come off as very disrespectful and condescending. It is evident by the amount of callers who specially ask for Eric’s response without acknowledging David. Not because they don’t like David, but because they don’t want to feel like they are asking a stupid question on a show that thousands of people are listening to. Eric is the complete opposite of this and it is why people tend to like Eric more. He receives the caller’s question and attempts to explain it in a way that is impactful to the caller’s understanding going forward. David on the other hand, seems to only answer questions that are on a ‘silver platter’ so to speak. He doesn’t really seem to care if the caller learns anything from his response or if the caller becomes more educated on that particular question. Again, no beef with David at all. I just think this REALLY brings the quality of the podcast down and is a significant issue for an otherwise 5-star podcast. Thanks for the time.

Have always loved listening to DOB and Eric but they have taken it to another level adding the second podcast each week where they take fan questions. Eric gives great insight from a former players prospective. Love this podcast.

I enjoy the topics and the real insight they bring. They are both very knowledgeable. I can’t listen with my grandsons because of language. It really doesn’t bring any value.

My son turned me on to this at the beginning of this season. Wow!! Has become a podcast must listen - I can’t wait for each new episode! Dave and Eric are awesome - funny, informative, and candid. I learn more baseball from Eric than I could possibly imagine. It provides me with a much better perspective on the game. Dave is a top notch journalist with great insight and relationships with the club that helps me have a great feel for the “fabric” of the roster I could not find elsewhere. Both are wonderful storytellers. GREAT PODCAST!! Period. End of sentence. Have recommended to all my friends that follow the Braves.

Love it! DOB is fun, insightful, optimistic but fair. He brings real insider info to fans. EOF really surprised me, I thought he would be a meat head but he brings some awesome perspective. Fun, smart, honest

He also hates most all fans including anyone who questions him. Will not miss this podcast when the athletic folds.

I love this podcast amazing content, and always keeps me updated on what’s going on in Braves country!! But during every episode I can hear Eric Eating or drinking. With that being said Eric you are should share what your eating or drinking !! Lol Thanks for making this podcast awesome

Great beat writer with ATL fav Eric O’Flaherty. EOF adds incredible insight with DOB who does his job as good as anyone in the biz. Listen to this pod if you’re a Braves fan.

First time ever commenting on a podcast so hopefully that shows how frustrated I am. I Love this podcast, but the drink swallowing and smacking has to stop. I will not listen to another episode like this. Disgusting and highly distracting. Still will give 5 stars for how much I love the content itself.

I love this show as more a commentary show than a deep dive. Dave always guesses at players stats, and too often talks over Eric when Eric is about to give his opinion from the players perspective. Dave is ADD or something some days but the show is always entertaining and it is cool to hear the evolution of an old school sports writer and a player who just missed the “let them play” era and analytical revolution. Open minds, great insight, fun stories from the past.

I love listening to Dave and Eric (and Peter) to get the behind the scenes and “local” perspective on my favorite ball club. Living in Arizona, don’t always get the “personal” stories of the players.

The best out there. Love Dave and EOF. Informative and funny. Always great when Peter Moylan joins as well.

I found this podcast back during the offseason when Covid started and have listened to every episode since! This 2020 season was amazing and this podcast made it so much better and much more enjoyable! Love the stats and inside conversations/interviews from David and the down to earth player insight from Eric! Not to mention the episodes with Peter Moylan! Hearing yall’s personal stories about yall’s playing days and experiences is a treasure Moylo & Eric were my favorite guys I loved to see coming out of the pen for the Braves Keep the awesome work up yall, looking forward to future episodes this offseason and an exciting 2021 season!

I been a Braves fan since 1991 when I was 10 years old and watching them on TBS to learn how to play baseball since it was my first year to play sports. I have watched almost every game since then. Eric and Dave are great to listen to and I find myself nodding along many times while I listen. Keep it up boys! I’m available for a guest appearance on the show after we win the WS! My favorite players are David Justice, Mad Dogg, Ozzie , Soroka and now Max !

These two are great together. Their combined insight into the game as a braves reporter and former brave is fascinating. If you want a braves specific podcast, this is the one. appreciate you both!

The best Braves coverage out there just a lot of swearing, makes it tough to listen to in the car or at home with family around. Bummer cause I’ve got younglings who want to listen.

So glad that even though baseball is not happening, we can still hear about the game and former Braves. Eric and DOB are great, as are the guest. The Kelsey interview was the best, followed by Evan Gattis. Keep it up fellas.

755 is Real is the best Braves podcast out there. David O’Brien and Eric O’Flaherty bring humor, insight, and a unique viewpoint to Braves baseball. Every episode is well thought-out and gives you an inside perspective to the clubhouse. One of the things that gives this show an edge is their view from the inside, DOB is there, on the inside, with the team and EOF gives a ton of insight being a former player. These two combine for a well-informed context to the game. It’s hard to believe that this podcast is free.

Full on insight and good humor. I've been having issues with downloading in the past week or two, however; anybody else with the same problem?

I love the insight that is given by these guys, especially Eric. I wish the language wasn't an issue, but I guess it’s their thing. I think podcast would do better if it were more family friendly. I wish that wasn’t so hard to ask for. Great content otherwise!

You can’t always listen to it with the kids, because of the language.

The insight and candor that DOB and Eric—and their guests—provide is great. Only complaint: DOB is a great reporter but has a tendency to talk over others when he asks questions. It makes it hard to follow the conversations sometimes. Fix that and this insightful podcast becomes stellar.

In a city full of absolutely terrible sports journalist DOB might actually be the worst one.

Having a podcast with an actual former Braves pitcher gives a different element than other Braves podcasts. Very cool having a former player’s perspective and an actual paid journalist that covers the team. The Chipper Jones episode is one of my favorite episodes of any podcast series. And they cuss. Which is cool.

One of the best Braves podcast I’ve ever heard. You could listen to this all day and be glued to it. Great job DOB, EOF and Chipper!

My gripe is the number of times that DOB interrupts Eric and other guests. It’s crazy. He also answers his own questions to Eric. Just relax dude, listening to someone else is okay.
