　The day began at sunset. It was already evening. Before the Sabbath began, Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus buried Jesus&#39; body with great care in a new tomb on the west side of Golgotha Hill. Joseph of Arimathea was one of the leading legislators, and Nicodemus was the one who once visited Jesus in the middle of the night and was taught the gospel of the Kingdom of God and the depths of the new birth. 
　
　May we all be mindful of the Lord&#39;s plan for us today.

Now when evening had come, because it was the Preparation Day, that is, the day before the Sabbath,

Joseph of Arimathea, a prominent council member, who was himself waiting for the kingdom of God, coming and taking courage, went in to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus.」　Amen.
