「As the deer pants for the water brooks,

　So pants my soul for You, O God.」　Amen.

  Here we enter the BookⅡ. The title reads “To the Chief Musician. A Contemplation of the sons of Korah.” Korah was a Levite, disobeyed Moses, and was destroyed by the Lord. But his descendants followed God faithfully, and David appointed the family of Korah to lead the choir, and they were musicians in the temple for hundreds of years. Up to Psalm 49 was written by the descendants of Korah.

May we pant for and long for the Lord today as well.
