When Jesus says, “Your Kingdom come,” he is saying a mouthful!  Can the Father’s Kingdom come when I am on my throne – the king (or queen) of my castle?Perhaps this is why Jesus said,  “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money … or Self.”  Matthew 6:24  Tune in to find out!

Today we begin a journey into a better understanding of the prayer Jesus gave to his disciples, and by extension, to us. We call this, The Lord’s Prayer. It is more accurate to say, The Disciple’s Prayer. Jesus gave this to them and to us to use as a model to follow.

Would it be helpful to take a measure of where you are in your spiritual journey You may think you are doing well as a Christian, but perhaps you are fooling yourself. Today we complete our Spiritual Inventory.  The full inventory is below, should you be brave enough to take it. Or perhaps I should say, “If you are serious about going deeper into the Kingdom.”    Tune in!

Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts.24 See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. (Psalm 139:23-24). I contemplate this passage often, and often think to myself, “What kind of idiot would proactively ask God to inspect him or herself like this?”  But I have learned that this inspection will assist me in my introspection. Something I need, often. Do you?  Today we talk about our Spiritual Inventory to review at the beginning of the year.  Are you brave enough to take it? Or perhaps I should say, “Are you serious about going deeper into the Kingdom?”

In this episode we look back over the past 15 years and where God has led us over the years.  We look at some of the highlights and milestones that we have experienced….including the starting of the weekly radio show 721Live.

In this episode we look at the Christmas story, but with an eye toward the Beatitudes that we have been working through for the past several episodes.  We look at the Christmas story in chronological order with an eye toward responding in faith vs. reacting in fear.

We continue to look at four questions regarding prayer:1-Can I pray for my own good?   2-Can I wear God down to get what I want?  3-What if God granted my prayer requests?  4-What would be the Ultimate Prayer Request?

We’re in the second question about prayer:  Can We Wear God Done?  Can we keep asking God for our request and wear Him done?  Can we over ask God in our prayers?

We continue our series on Prayer.  We look at four questions….the first one is can I pray for my own Good?  If so, how and what can I pray for?
