Welcome to Episode 4 of Season 2, where we discuss concept of Utopia. Beyond being an imaginary place where society can prosper. What does it mean to each of us when we think of it? What features and qualities does it entail? Is it possible then for our society to ever make the transition to more of a utopia? Perhaps at the end of the day, it is merely an unattainable goal that we are destined to never achieve.

Welcome to episode 3 of season 2, today we are going to change up the pace a bit and focus in the conversation scope, by shortening the lineup. The topic at hand is that of transhumanism and gene editing. As a society focusing on prolonging our finite lives and maintaining good health, it seems inevitable that in the near future we will have to decide how we wish to approach these two topics. What then is our preference between the two? Perhaps the situation will future complicate itself with the presence of corporate agendas and peer pressure. How do we expect to keep up if we don’t fall in line?

Welcome to Episode 2 , in this episode we discuss the concept of “Influencers” and their impact on our society, both in the present and future. Are we simply confusing influencers with content creators? Or do they provide something unique enough to merit a category of their own. The discussion then expands into our views on social media, specifically that of OnlyFans. Beyond the potential monetary gains that can be unlocked through social media, what else can someone in the present begin to explore?

Welcome back everyone! After a brief intermission, we are back to discuss the the topic of cancel culture. At it's core cancel culture allows the masses an opportunity to voice their concerns against those in positions of influence, but presently it has evolved into a means of targeting individuals over their past. Is it right for society to “cancel” individuals, when beyond their lapse in past judgement, have been able to contribute greatly towards the growth of society as we proceed into the future?

In the final part of this series, we will focus in on the future. There are no guarantees in what this life has to offer, though if we were granted the power to guarantee the success of one thing on our bucket list, what would it be?

Continuing our conversation from part 1. In part 2, we will focus on the present. Through the lens of an optimized past, what is the one thing each of us will focus all of our energies on, if we were able to drop all other demands of our everyday lives?

Perhaps it is something that exists outside our understanding, simply using us as conduits for expression. Or at the other end of the spectrum, it may be reduced down to a designed workflow, developed through trial and error. Defining such a concept may not be as simple as it first appears, but the problem becomes more complex for if we are lucky enough to be ‘creative’, harnessing it’s full potential is the next concern, all while navigating any possible loss of momentum.

Welcome to Episode 2, in this episode we discuss the topic of artificial intelligence. Our focus will revolve particularly around how our society will be affected by artificial intelligence as it becomes more integrated into our everyday lives. Artificial intelligence has the possibility to heavily influence our labour force, corporation dominance and law enforcement among many others. There are no guarantees on where the radical shift will take us, and therefore we will need to prepare ourselves to mitigate the many possible dangers that lie ahead.
