
The shortage of Xbox Series and PS5 consoles continues, and so does the innovation in the gaming industry. This week saw the unveiling of MetaHuman Creator, Epic Games new development tool that allows for exponentially faster creation of characters. Ubisoft reveals plans to move away from reliance on AAA game releases, focusing more energy on free-to-play ventures and their incredibly profitable back catalog. The finalization of Microsoft's acquisition of ZeniMax Media appears on the horizon with the announcement of Vault, a subsidiary created to house and potentially oversee the new addition to Xbox's talent pool. 410wned returns to it's regularly scheduled programming, no thanks to Craig. Mass Effect Legendary Edition will not include the Pinnacle Station DLC for ME1 due to severely corrupted source code. A new Star Wars: KOTOR is apparently in development, without EA or BioWare being involved. MLB The Show 21 comes to Xbox consoles for the first time ever, though Sony maintains it's PS5 game pricing model on for the Xbox Series version. Oh, and there are also three other versions of The Show available this year. Google Stadia shuts down all internal development studios after a less than impressive launch. Kevin got an Xbox Series X console, and Jackie Fingaz got married! Fun!
