So today while recording, everything that happened was true to the topic.  I had my little on my lap, my son waltzed in eventually and took to the drums, and then I decided that a 10-11 minute episode will be ok.  My littles wanted my attention, and they will get it.  You see I love podcasting, but I also love being a mom.  I know that this could be a job, but for me I enjoy it way too much for it to be a job.  I like that I have the flexibility to oops miss a week, or talk about what I want to talk about.  I don't need the approval of millions to do what I love.  Yes, if someone asked me if I wanted to get paid to do this of course I would say yes, but for the many that listen from around the world... Never have I ever been a fan of sugar coating anything. I am a big fan of being honest and straightforward, so... why then get mad if I am not sugar coating?  I guess we are all different and I totally get that, but seriously, the only thing I am sugar coating is my cookies...and occasionally my oatmeal with brown sugar of course. As a youth, we just lived carefree and lived day by day.  Of course we were told to be nice to people, look both ways, and wash your hands.  However, for some reason as we got older and expectations of responsibility are to be expected, we weren't always told these things.  See, some things we can say yes common sense, but other things if you aren't told, how do you know.  I tell people to please remove their shoes prior to entering my house, or they can FaceTime us from outside.  If you don't say please remove your shoes, how do they know? So lets touch upon this, plus talk about how there is only 8 more Sundays until HALLOWEEN!!!!
