Charles McFarland is an award-winning theater director, producer, and performing arts executive. He produced and directed more than 60 professional productions.

Certified in Management by the Canadian Advanced Technology Alliance, Charles has used

his skills in programming, marketing, branding, and sales to generate significant revenue

increases for a number of theater companies and performing arts centers. Among other achievements, teams and campaigns led by Charles have been responsible for raising millions of dollars and building numerous performing arts facilities in Canada’s capital over the last decade.

For three years, he then built his practice as a Certified FocalPoint Business Coach, combining the no1 ranked business coaching and training services franchise with the creative ‘frame’ that brings arts practice into business development.  And now, he has combined ‘the business of theater’ with “theater in business” to offer the unique paradigm of the Theatre of Commerce, providing the keys to leader, team and business transformations.
