This week's episode shapes up as follows:
World Peas-our segment where we talk about goings-on in pop culture
Harrison Butker…in our opinion, goes off the rails as a commencement speaker. He should stick to football and not diminish and dehumanize women and the members of the LGBTQ+ community.
More stupid “portal” talk…and an update on the new office dog, “Oliie.”
Peas are Family-our segment where we regale the listening audience with a story from our family archives
Tovah and Eric reminisce about Elayne’s dad, Tovah’s “Papa” (grandfather) at the one-year anniversary of his passing. We talk about shiva and share some funny stories about him, especially about our first date, and “Urinal Art”-you need to listen to learn!
Peas of Information-we ask Tovah a couple of questions unrelated to anything we’ve talked about in this episode and get her stream of consciousness answers.
Eric peppers Tovah with questions about her “best year” and whether she plays in instrument…and somehow lands on one her favorite movies again…

Podcast delayed is Podcast denied!
On this week’s slightly delayed episode, Tovah and Eric discuss establishing a set-list of segments for each week. Though still somewhat loose, there will be our relaxed Intro, then “World Peas”, with stories from around the world about pop culture and current events), then “Peas are Family”…, which are stories from the family archives and finally “Peas of Information”, where Eric asks random questions to get stream of consciousness responses from Tovah, and then a few closing comments.
First up this week, we get derailed and talk about “The Country Bears” movie…an early 2000’s live-action movie based on the Disney Country Bears, and a riff on the “Blues Brothers” movie, when they try to get the "band" back together--some great cameos. Sounds ridiculous, but a really good movie, in an insane way.
Tovah brings it back around to the Kentucky Derby, and how that’s her scene…sure, if you like stupid hats.
We go into a "Peas are Family" story from our family archives…this week, in honor of graduation season, Eric talks about the 2018 trip with Tovah to visit Indiana University, Maryland and Delaware…and the bloodletting that occurred in Indiana when Tovah did not express the appropriate amount of excitement in Bloomington! Hysteria reigns supreme!
We wrap up with a few random questions for Tovah…ahhh, the insight!
Thanks for listening.

This week, from a remote location, Tovah starts off with a shout-out to her friend Connor, and re-visits the Lonely Island. The she gets a lesson on the FCC and the First Amendment.
We throw the rock around the key a bit and talk women’s basketball, NCAAW and Caitlin Clark. Tovah even watched the women’s draft, which she preferred to the NFL draft.
We talk a bit about Tovah’s hot internet takes, and how her brand of humor might be lost on some internet trolls.
Eric teases some info and background on his other podcast, currently in pre-production, “Restless Lawyer: Off the Record.”
Classic Tovah rant about someone on their laptop computer in the women’s locker room at Lifetime Fitness…that’s uncomfortable.
Tovah talks ten plagues at Passover…not the first ten episodes of this podcast!
We finish with some horseradish talk, and the Peas of Information Segment, where I toss Tovah random questions for her off the cuff answers.

In a weird situation, a “mentalist” randomly shows up at Tovah’s job on Easter Sunday, but amazes and astounds with weird, David Blaine-like tricks.
We recorded this prior to the final four weekend so listen up and see how we did with our picks.
Eclipse!!!!
Where does our audience stand on Tovah’s poll question? Is it ok to dress up your dog? Find out where we stand and hear about our favorite Instagram dog account. It’s not Franklin’s, but he’s the boss!
As we refine our new segment, “Peas of Information”, I throw a few more random questions at Tovah and hear her stream of consciousness responses. One of which is about “Sa’s” hot sauce…people, you gotta get some!

Returning from a short hiatus, Tovah and Eric get into a discussion about Eric’s special “Visiting Day Shirt” that he’s been wearing since 2006. Shout out to Sony Walkman “Sport” edition…and we learn what Tovah’s “Hype Song” is…I assure you, it is not “The Sound of Silence!”
Random celebrity discussion-Winona Ryder, and Tovah reveals her inner nerd.
We talk about a trip to Boulder, CO and how you have to be extra diligent in checking your flight departure time but trust no app!
We close this episode with a new segment: “Peas of Information.”
In this segment, Eric asks Tovah questions totally unrelated to the podcast episode and get answers to burning questions like: what is your favorite food, etc…it’s time for Tovah to be on the hot seat!

Eric and Tovah, the father-daughter podcast team, hit a bunch of topics this week.
They talk about how Tovah sneaks pics in some of the most historical places in the world.
We shift gears and talk about immersing ourselves in the local culture when travelling, and how that turned out in Pisa.
We chat a bit about Tovah’s crazy multi-leg parlays for March Madness and how Josh’s Tar Heels blew up her parlays and bracket
Special shout-out to a couple of big fans in Worcester. If you’d like a shout-out, please email us or leave a comment!
Francis Scott Key Bridge…oh say can you see…not the bridge!
Eric and Tovah do a deep dive into the “Quiet on Set” documentary about the abuse that went on behind the scenes at the Dan Schneider produced shows on Nickelodeon…what a nightmare. The sad tale of those child actors, suffering at the hands of a power-hungry monster. You will never watch those shows the same way again.
Tovah tells us about how she walked out of the Bob Marley movie, which leads us to talk about the Never Ending Story…that movie is still going!
After another dive into the Nickelodeon crap-fest, we end on a funny story about Eric’s dad…a classic Gil moment…or two!
