Love listening to the cast. So many great tips and ideas. Would you be able to do a pod about fly fishing in the glacier National park/flathead area? Is it just not as good of a fly fishing destination in those parts in Montana?

I live in the southeast, where the nearest trout stream is about 5 hours away, but it's always interesting to me how the tips and suggestions discussed can be applied to fishing for bass or other fish on the streams and rivers where I live. Great show!

I just discovered these guys and have been going back and listening to two or three episodes every day. These two guys are very insightful and I have learned a ton of things that have helped me become a better fly fisherman. I appreciate what they have to say about improving my skills and knowledge of the sport but they have also taught me how to live life a little more deeply and to enjoy every minute I get so spend on the water.

Nothing is finer then listening to Dave and Steve on the drive home after work. I let my self unplug and dream about rivers and laugh lots on the days I listen. They are quirky, funny, wise in lots of ways and most importantly make me laugh. I’m just back from a small stream on the Flat Tops in CO where I was able to reel in a few fish with my sons. Now I’m back to reality…but I got to listen again tonight and it I’m drawing of my next trip. Hope you all enjoy!

I haven’t listened for a while but just listened to this episode on the way back home from a weekend fishing on the west branch of the Delaware river in NY. The episode is great- lots of new material, great explanations of the insects and their colors and when they come off the water and different flies to use. Audio was really clear as well. Thanks guys

Hi Guys, I discovered your podcast while researching a recent fishing trip to Yellowstone and spent many happy miles driving across Montana listening to your advice and exploits. I got skunked fishing the Madison and FireHole, but learned a lot and will hire a guide next time. I am raw beginner with a fly rod in my hands, but am enjoying learning the art and craft of fly fishing. Thanks for helping me along on that journey!

I just found you guys a month ago and now you’re leaving?! I’m bummed! Best podcast on fly fishing AND you guys are believers!! I am so bummed you guys are done. I already binge listened to all your previous podcasts!! What am I to do now???? Loved every episode, loved the different pronunciations of THAT lake in ND(my wife is from there so we have this argument all the time!!), loved your passion and ALL OF IT!! I listen to many podcasts while traveling, but this is by far my favorite. Steve and Dave share my love for fly fishing and provide so much down to earth and useful information. When I listen to the podcast, I feel like I am hanging out with my fishing buddies on the stream. These are definitely the kind of guys I would hang out with and fish with in my little fly fishing neck of the woods. Keep the podcasts coming guys! Can’t get enough!!!

I love this podcast. The hosts long friendship and shared life experiences really makes this podcast shine. Their playful banter and storytelling makes you feel like you're sitting down with old friends reliving great memories while learning a lot along the way. They both tend to downplay their own abilities and their modesty is both refreshing and endearing. Fly fishing can be a very intimidating sport for veterans and rookies alike but they make it all very approachable with solid, easy to understand information and advice, all while never taking themselves too seriously, which tends to happen a lot in the world of fly fishing. I've been fly fishing for 20 years and have fished a lot of the same Montana and Colorado waters they reference but I never fail to learn more with every episode. If you have any interest in fly fishing, give this a listen, it is by far, my favorite fly fishing podcast and one of my favorite podcasts in general.

As a first year fly fisherman, I've learned a great deal by listening to these guys. The topics range from the basics, like picking the right rod, to more intermediate topics, like etiquette and lessons from certain streams they've fished together. Regardless of topic, they're both so warm and approachable that you wish you were part of the live conversation. And at less than 30 minutes each, it's really easy to either get one in during your commute or binge the whole series. Keep it up, fellas.

Great balance for those of us stuck between "I know enough to be dangerous" and "I always need more advice." Fresh advice and some tried-and-true tips you might've forgotten. Love this podcast, keep coming with more, new to fly fishing. But also wish there would be a lot of basic fly fishing podcasts too!
