סיפור של גרמני - יומנו של סבסטיאן הפנר בשנים 1933-1914
"סיפור של גרמני" הוא תסכית בארבעה פרקים, לציון 90 שנים לעליית הנאציזם לשלטון. התסכית מבוסס על הספר "סיפור של גרמני", שנכתב בידי העיתונאי וההיסטוריון ריימונד פרטצל ואשר נודע לימים בשם העט סבסטיאן הפנר. בתסכית מגולל הפנר, בגילומו של רן דנקר, את השתלשלות האירועים בגרמניה ממלחמת העולם הראשונה ועד עלייתו של היטלר לשלטון.
הפנר נולד בברלין בשנת 1907. כבן למשפחה מן המעמד הבינוני המשכיל, הוא התעתד לשרת, בדומה לאביו, בבירוקרטיה המשפטית של פרוסיה, אולם עליית הנאצים לשלטון בשנת 1933 שיבשה את תוכניותיו. בניגוד לרבים מבני דורו ומחבריו, הפנר תיעב את הנאצים וראה בהם אספסוף חסר מצפון. בשנת 1938 עזב את גרמניה לאנגליה. את יומנו כתב הפנר בגלות, בשנת 1939, אולם הוא פורסם וראה אור כספר רק 60 שנים מאוחר יותר, ב-1999, לאחר שהלך לעולמו.
