I do not like LA douchery but I do like a story that embraces that douchery. I don’t understand why it doesn’t have a conclusion. Am I missing something?

The voice acting and production are awesome and there’s a lot to laugh at. Has kind of the feel of a well done play. Only downside is the Hollywood insider attitude. There’s only one place in the whole world where people live like this, so every character comes across like an a-hole. Except for Alex winter. He is a gem.

I don’t usually listen to podcasts, but when I do it’s this one.

Great show concept that perfectly describes the chaos of art intersecting with business. Especially with the current state of the media industry. Gary is one of my favorite writers and he does NOT disappoint with this one. Shout out from a KF best friend :)

This functions as a Hollywood circle jerk. Gary Whitta gives us an insight into the back door dialogue of the film industry. It turns out the writers, executives, and actors are all equally insufferable. Whitta confuses sarcasm with comedy. His first failure. The voice acting is shockingly horrible given there are some seasoned actors in the show. Whitta is unable to give a unique voice to each character, rather making each character into a foul mouthed, cynical, sarcastic, arrogant character, like he is himself in real life. His second failure. If this is an exercise in expressing his frustration as he claims, then more power to him. If he thinks this is going to be a successful comedy, or if he thinks this is actually funny, he needs to work with funny writers, which is my first advice.

Loved the pilot and really hope for more. Congrats Gary!

the irony of this podcast is that it’s producers / writers have put themselves in almost the same scenario as their protagonists. can’t wait to see how both plot lines play out!!

This show will stop you in your tracks with some great snort-laugh moments, dialog so sharp that you'll listen more than once. Gary's got a great new Molotov cocktail of a show and I am certainly coming back for more !

Pilot episode was great. I hope this picks up traction and gets the attention it deserves.

As caustic and lacerating and funny as satire gets, cutting incredibly close to the bone of this dumb business commonly referred to as “entertainment.”

I think the podcast is fun and smartly written, very self aware. I really wanted to comment that a simple cast list stating the characters they play would be great, on the website they list the cast but not the characters they play, I had trouble finding an IMDb. It would be helpful to include this on one of these pages. They list it at the end of the first episode, but somewhere else would be nice too.

I have to know where this goes. The cast was great and the story is fun. I would love to see where this goes.

Had a great time listening. Some of the lines had me laughing sonhard that I had to run it back a bit. Can’t wait for more episodes.

Very cutting and funny. Whitta nails modern Hollywood and “content culture” with his usual aplomb. I don’t often get real LOL’s from podcasts but this one gave me several as well as a few gasps at the take no prisoners script when it went where few Hollywood satires go! Highly recommended! It’s a hoot.
