Throughout human history, words spoken in dying fury and scripts sealed by tragedy have left behind trails of uncanny misfortune. Whether whispered in ancient imperial courts or buried in modern Hollywood vaults, certain deadly legacies refuse to stay in the past.

In Hollywood, the unproduced comedy script Atuk earned a lethal reputation after four consecutive comedy icons attached to the lead role—John Belushi, Sam Kinison, John Candy, and Chris Farley—each died suddenly before cameras could ever roll.

Are these tragic chains of events simple coincidence, or can sheer malice truly echo through the ages?
