Hits just the right balance of MNUFC, soccer specific, humor, supporter culture, promoting community, and some of the best player, coach, sports writer, and related people interviews. Love the interplay that Dan and Matt have with each other and those on the show. Lands as a conversation among friends and most of all feels authentically engaging. Great to have their two different levels of soccer knowledge to help us all be better at taking in the beautiful game. Thank you gentlemen.

Only problem that I have with this podcast is that it doesn’t post enough. I wish it would about post every game besides that I love this podcast and would recommend it.

A very likable podcast about Soccer Minnesota United FC, additionally, fun reminders about cleaning your dishwasher.

Very fun to listen to and the guys do a great job of breaking down topics. A must listen for Minnesota United fans.

I’m a big podcast guy and as such I try to find a podcast for my interest and hobbies, which includes soccer and the Loons. I’m so thankful for Dan and Matt, as I think they’re producing not only the best podcast about the Loons we have, but one of the best MLS fanbase podcasts. It’s the perfect format that makes it approachable and accessible: it’s two fun, affable guys that cover the spectrum of soccer fandom, from expert to newbie. They’re professional enough that they now get interviews with local and MLS media (which we’re very, very lucky to have the likes of Marthaler and Greder, other marks don’t have writers like that for their team) and interviews with the team, which have an element of guys just gabbin’ that I appreciate and you don’t normally get from player interviews. They seem to let their media-trained guard down just a little bit. It’s well-made with good audio quality (which far too many shows drop the ball on), and most importantly for a successful podcast, they’re *consistent*. To truly build a great podcast following, your listeners have to look forward to an episode each week, and I for one am always excited and anticipate a new episode of The Loony Bin when it hits my podcast app (I’ve even put it in my Pocketcast queue as one that hits the top when new episodes arrive).

Great work by the guys. Keep getting strong guests!

This is the best podcast for MNUFC news, game breakdowns, and everything in-between! You can hear the authentic Minnesota-Nice through your headphones, and the fact that it’s one host with lots of soccer knowledge and one that’s still learning about the sport creates a fun dynamic

Informative pod for new and seasoned MNUFC fans alike.

Excellent and accessible analysis of the game, from minutia to big picture.

The Loony Bin is an absolute gem for anyone who bleeds Minnesota United colors. Dan and Matt are the perfect duo—their banter is sharp, hilarious, and genuinely contagious. They know how to balance insightful analysis of the Loons with just the right amount of humor to keep things entertaining. Whether they're breaking down a match, debating tactics, or sharing wild MNUFC stories, you can’t help but feel like you’re hanging out with your two funniest friends. It’s not just a podcast—it’s part of my weekly routine now. Highly recommend to Loons fans everywhere!

This is the most fun podcast for soccer fans out there. I have been a soccer fan my entire life but I still learn something each episode. Dan and Matt keep you laughing through the Loons losses and make the wins even more fun.

You've established a great balance, creating space for seasoned and causal fans alike. Always fun, educational and positive. And when you spent time with such a thoughtful response to current events (on ep 36)-perfection. Keep it up!

I’ve been listening for about 7 months and it’s well-researched, informative and funny. Thanks Dan, Matt & Producer Jim!

I’ve been listening for the past few months and I am so grateful for both Dan and Matt. My first game was last year with only a few watched before that. I have so many questions that are answered in loon or loonlet. The novelty of this podcast is how they cater to both the new and the experienced. I also appreciate the overall positive attitude and how the guys keep it fun. Thanks for all you do guys!

One of my fav MNUFC podcast! Really good also for the newer soccer fans

Great for a new soccer fan, and I’m even starting to score more points in Loon or Loonlet than Matt! :) thanks for the good info and entertainment y’all!

Fantastic show! Love it and can’t wait to make this a regular part of my soccer media consumption. Come on you Loons!

Very well produced podcast about the soccer team we love. Hosts are great.

Banter between a serious fan and new fan, The Loonlet,” makes this accessible for both the casual fan and those of us who have been following the team for a while. Good, balanced game analysis that cheers the team but doesn’t get too homer or cheesy

It’s helpful recap for those of us who can watch maybe half the games. I’m able to learn more about the loons and get great info on how the players are progressing. Go Loons!

Listened to the first two episodes and very happy I subscribed. The guys do a great job of being informative, technical, and insightful. While at the same time keeping the podcast accessible and inclusive for the casual fan! Great team up of the die hard and novice fan.

Love the combination of the experienced soccer voice with the novice voice. Loons fans should listen!

As a loon-let myself, I’m enjoying this informative and funny listen. These two have great chemistry!

Great Minnesota United podcast for super fans and newbies.

Great start to the podcast endeavor guys! Well done and keep the great info coming. Very informative and fun. Glad to see two hosts, one seasoned and one fresh, that will appeal to more Loon fans.
