I've been listening to this podcast week in week out for a few seasons now and it is my favorite by far. Mark is thoughtful, efficient, gets to the point, and touches on all the important things I want to hear about.

This is my go-to FPL podcast. The General’s advice is solid, thoughtful, and to the point. His watchlist concept has been helpful to me in focusing in on transfers. In each episode he hits key stats, updates his watchlist with reasons for why to add or remove players, answers key questions, and gives transfer and captaincy advice. All of this in a concise time so the episodes are not too long. Highly recommend!

The General gives a calming, rational style of FPL management that focuses on simplifying the game and having fun. He is the only FPL creator I listen to. He encourages you to play your own game. He has a sweet, soothing voice. Simply the best FPL Content Creator!

Thoughtful, down to earth, open-minded, no agenda aside from being helpful. Love the annual 10-things podcast, and all the Mark does for the FPL community

Started listening to the General in the summer 2022 to get me competitive in my 11 y/o son’s football team player/parent mini league. I’m currently in 3rd place and closing in on 100k in the overall rankings. Couldn’t have done it without the General and his podcast. So glad he’s back after the brief hiatus! This is NOT, however, a podcast I would recommend listening to while driving, since there’s so much info I need to be able to take notes!

The best FPL content creator out there. Good blend of stats and eye test wrapped up in a 30 minute package.

Been following the General both through his public podcasts and via Patreon. Cannot recommend him enough — every episode is packed with insight to help make you a getter manager. Cannot recommend him enough.
