A local story about the astronaut reading from the book of Genesis

As a Catholic School teacher, eating a quiet lunch in the staff lounge has been a way to mentally regroup. This Advent, it has become my “Scrooge” time to get lost in the daily episode, & be reminded of why I dedicated myself to the work I do, & the importance of spreading the joy of Jesus daily! Now, several of us meet to eat our lunches & enjoy the program! We will miss our new holiday tradition!!!

I no longer have children at home, but if I did, the short daily broadcasts would be very fun, as well as their printable coloring sheets. I'm loving the Christmas Carol!! I was curious and went to listen to Season 1, but I thought it was exactly the same as season 2! Is it really? Did I miss something?

I always love Charles Dickens “A Merry Christmas”! I love how it’s broken down, so as a family you listen to a chapter at a time. Then discuss it as a family!! This is great family fun!

Very well done but would be much better if there weren’t promotions at the end of every brief episode. They Interrupt the flow of the story, especially if you listen to several episodes at a time.

I absolutely love “The Merry Baggers” audio adventure calendar of A Christmas Carol! This beautiful adaptation of Charles Dickens’ timeless classic has become a cherished part of our Advent tradition. Pardon the pun, but my kids merrily beg to hear the story. They are loving it. Quality! No fear of inappropriate content and beautifully engaging.

This is a truly fabulous and accurate “radio” rendition of one of the greatest stories ever. It is wonderful to listen to the actors and the narrator. Meanwhile you have the chance to sit back and imagine what they look like and what the scene is. I love the acting, the sound effects, the whole quality of the production. It’s different, and it’s old-fashioned in a wonderful Christmas way.

This is a crazy good podcast. In major part out of the merits of Dickens, and also, in no small in part, out of the merits of the podcast crew.

The Merry Beggars’ A Christmas Carol Is an excellent dramatic presentation and production. It is so engaging that I can hardly wait for the next episode. The actors and background sounds are phenomenal. One can imagine being right in the middle of story experiencing every scene. I never tire of listening to this production. Wow! This was great. Very, very well written and performed.

My wife turned me on to this two weeks ago and now, for the next few days, I’ll binge one of the greatest Christmas stories in history performed like I’ve never heard before. Two episodes in and this is spectacular!

I enjoyed listening to the first two episodes thus far and am looking forwards to hearing the rest of them! Such a talented group of actors who are truly blessed within their God-given abilities to perform and share their rendition of this Holiday Christmas Classic! It warms up the coldest of hearts with lots of holiday cheer! So if your feeling a bit bah-humbug like Scrooge, give it a listen and it will surely bring some laughter and lighten your mood. Be sure to listen in and you will find sure enough this tale of holiday spirits of Christmas past will melt your heart and even brighten your Christmas spirit. You might even find your self singing a Carole or two and leave you with a grin from ear to ear.

This is one of my favorite books and having so many lines memorized, I enjoy the characters being spoken to life in such a rich, theatric way. My children and I enjoy each day’s presentation so much!!

I am a grandma of many. They are all spread out. I have enjoyed listening myself. But really think thst this would be great to listen to with my spread out family. Will try to encourage this for all next year. Thank you for your most enjoyable presentation.

Listening to these performances is so much fun! Both my kids and I are captivated by the wonderful, professional voices and sound effects that completely immerse a person into the story!

This is an outstanding podcast. The narrator (Charles Dickens) is extremely believable as are the characters encountered each day. Ebenezer comes across as you would expect him. The actually reading of the text of the story is even better than the various movies that have been made.

Enjoying this series with my six year old daughter. She was excited to learn in episode 6 that it’s a ghost story. She likes to listen at 0.75x speed on YouTube.
