時は、令和のはじめ。
齢は四十を超えているもののまっすぐで風変わりなアヤ子は、無限塔と呼ばれる古塔に忍び込んだ。そこは、失踪した好々爺が霊となって徘徊すると噂されていたところだった。アヤ子は、そんな場所で何をしようとしているのか。塔の中に潜み秘密を抱えて生きる人々に、アヤ子は惹かれていき…。夥しい数の「夢蟲」を飼う男、東洋熊をあやつる若き女、地球の限界を透視する魔術婦人、「救い主」と呼ばれる不思議な放浪男ーーー怪しい人物たちがアヤ子の周囲で暗躍する。そして無限塔の秘密とは？
