The story is okay enough but tries way too hard to be comparable to stranger things. Also, I don’t even know what happened with the kids and the officer because once he started chewing I took my headphones out. It’s seriously disgusting and adds absolutely nothing to the podcast. Two stars literally for that alone. And seeing how I’m not the only one who hated that, maybe the next podcast this company makes won’t include unnecessary sounds like that.

Grade A audio drama thanks to a grade A cast and twisty plot that keeps you hooked till the end. Here is hoping for a Season Two.

At first didn’t think I’d like this but after a couple of episodes I really liked the storyline. Hope season 2 isn’t far off.

Like others have said this definitely has a Stranger Things vibe with the group of kids! It’s very well done- all the voice acting is awesome and the time travel aspect is very interesting. I was especially invested in Gabe and Riley’s plot line. I can’t wait for the second season!

If you have to pay attention to ANYTHING other than the show, you’ve missed a ton. The biggest problem is that the actors talk soooooo fast. But, I like the story.

This podcast is well written, performed and recorded. I’m hoping season 2 comes out soon! I throughly enjoyed the ride!!! I have to know what happens next.

The cast is excellent and the plot is intriguing. It had a fun vibe that I hope will get fleshed out in many more seasons (it feels like this particular season is just scratching the surface). I really enjoyed this and excited for the next season.

I’ve tried a few podcasts. This was the first one that didn’t disappoint. Can’t wait for more.

Entertaining 👏

I was looking for a new podcast and binged this in one day. It is really interesting and exciting. 13+ for mild language and mild violence. I did think that the characters acted a little older than 13, since somehow they knew how to drive, but other than that I found the podcast very immersive. I can’t wait for season 2! Definitely recommend!

Everyone is shouting in this show. Everyone is always mad. It gave me anxiety listening to this, there are almost no interactions where characters are simply talking to one another. I tried to listen through to the end but it’s frustrating how much shouting and arguments there are in this show. The story line is fine, it’s a time travel story and maybe there was a plot twist but it was kind of one that has been told before. Characters are not likable or interesting, very Stranger Things group of kids, just meh.

Love the season 1 can’t wait for season 2 please. It so good. I love listen to the show.

This was a fun trip. Nice job, Joel!

I really like this show and the overall genre of time travel in general. But for me though… I couldn’t stand the young Logan and Charles characters. The constant Pokemon references and Charles’ voice was aggravating. I couldn’t wait for their scenes to end and the story to move on. I have no aversion to swearing at all… but it seems like they liked to make “Logan = the character that always has to swear”. It seemed excessive not for the show in general but just the general situations they were in… ?!? Maybe it was to counter-balance the scenes with Charles and his non-swearing “swears” with the Pokemon references. I can’t put my finger on it.

I like it. Episodes are really short, though. But please, for the love, WHY do people ever record the sound of people kissing or eating. No one wants to hear either of those things up close.

Interesting enough premise to make it an entertaining listen. Yes, it was nigh on impossible to tell Gabe and Riley apart at times. Sure, it could be cheesy at times. But overall a compelling plot and I look forward to where the show goes in future seasons.

Pretty awesome! You definitely feel like you’re listening to the audio of a real movie or tv show. Just two critiques: It was adventurous, but no real revelations or twists to take it to the next level. And second, I absolutely could not tell Logan and Gabe apart. Yes, most teenager boys sound like that when they’re just starting to go through “the change”, but, I really felt like their dynamic was lost on me. They just sounded like the exact same person. But it was just so fun to experience. It was like Spielberg directed it.

It is so awesome can not wait for the next one. We throughly enjoyed listening to this one. Our 13 year old boy LOVED the antics of the gang of kids.

I really like this. It’s fun and thrilling. You want to root on the characters. I hope they keep this going!

It’s entertaining enough to pass the time with. A little cheesy in spots, but overall I’m invested and want to know how they finish the storyline. A couple people have mentioned it so I will too because it’s just that horrible - no characters chewing food please. THAT is cringeworthy and rage inducing. ;) Still 5 stars.

Made me drive through Alabama to Texas a breeze. I really enjoyed the season and can’t wait for season 2.

I was hooked from the opening. Hope they get a season 2. Want to know what’ s next for Gabe and Riley. But great podcast

The concept is good, but the dialogue seems to have been written by a teenager. Chopped, exaggerated characters, poor similes throughout. Sometimes the sound effects overpowered the scene rather than complimenting the action. I hung on until the ending(?) but would not recommend this podcast.

I’m new to podcasting fiction. Very pleasantly surprised by the quality and story line.

I loved this! Are you planning on going on with this? Making more seasons following all of it?
