Was not prepared for Jim to leave
KJ from Elmhurst here long time / second time. Need to find a new cohost or it will just be Pat and his wondos. Deliver for the OG Brims and get the Catman on. Still 5 stars but this is under weekly review.

New Brinmley in FL
These guys are hilarious together! I love their banter and I’ve been binge listening to all the episodes while recovering from surgery. Both are so quick witted and I feel like they are old friends already.

These Two are great!
I saw Jim and Pat in Cleveland about 6 months ago and I subscribed to their podcast and I look forward to their new episodes weekly! They are so funny together and they are so quick! New Brimley in Cleveland! Here is hoping for a Guardian Summer! Mark S. in Bay Village, OH

Silent auctions
I love the podcast. Had to laugh listening to you a few weeks ago both talking about auctions for the front row at Christmas mass or best parking spot. Pat said he hadn’t seen that going on in the s side but didn’t think it would sit well. I had to laugh as Im at the same parish - they did have an auction like this a few years ago...and what he pictured is exactly what happened!! We ā€œwonā€ the Christmas Eve front row in the silent auction...it was kind of a disaster as we zoomed up the aisle with the whole fam five mins before mass- looking like jerks- then sat down and the other people in the row who had been waiting an hour for their spot were not happy with us and asked us what we were doingšŸ˜‚ Next time we will just buy some extra raffle tickets! I hope you both will keep doing the show even after you are back on the road! Thanks for the laughs. Old Falcon Mama

Happy Sesquicentennial!
Love this duo and never miss an episode. Laugh out loud every episode - this week the naming of the plays had me dying laughing. Devoted Brimley for life!

My traveling go-to!
I work in sales and spend a lot of time driving all around upstate NY while listening to these guys! If you see me, you will know who I am because I’m the weirdo laughing hysterically by myself in my car… because of Pat and Jim! šŸ˜‚

Great road-trip podcast to listen to while on a roadtrip
Loved it! But this episode got me thinking, is a Donut stick just a long john?

Boston-based Brim
Laugh out loud humor, top notch every week. Hotdog Jeffersons, hosts getting hit by cars, a light history lesson sprinkled in here & there- it truly is all over the place. I was lucky enough to see these guys live & meet them this past weekend, and to top it off they’re absolute gents. Five stars all around!

Love it. Very fun and entertaining to listen to.

Funny and random
Love the sarcasm and the accurate-ish information. Jumped in about a year ago, never actually learned the definition of Brim though? Also, phone orders are more efficient and better but they are wrong and shouldn't be allowed!

Makes me laugh out loud
Love these guys! Look forward to listening on my walk every week. Who cares if the neighbors think I’m crazy for laughing out loud while I’m walking around tue block?!?

Impractical Jokers
Boys: this was a couple podcasts ago but I did want to let Jim know that I 100% agree that impractical jokers is hard to watch! It makes me uncomfortable as well! As always keep up the great entertainment!!

What fun
Pat and Flan are two of the funniest people in Chicago if not the world. So glad to have found this podcast and now I have to go back and listen to the rest of them. When I’m on the road I love to listen to hear what’s up with Chicago snd just to hear some hilarious familiar voices. Feels like home Brinkley for live

Laughing so hard we’re crying
My sister, Terry O’Brien, turned me onto this podcast in mid 2020 and we love to recap the high points of the show and laugh all over again. We just talked about how she and her son, Patrick, were driving and listening to Made in Ohio, with tears streaming down their faces listening to Pat talking about storming the field at Dayton. When I listened I felt like I was there, because Pat paints such a vivid picture! Our favorite part of that story? ā€œI’m getting good feedback ā€œ. 🤣 Thanks for providing us with many laughs over the years! I’m a confirmed Brimley!! - Megan Resler

Divorce Dad / Son Christmas
Christmas gift exchange is a highlight of 2021. Jim’s divorce dad caliber gifts were thoughtful, expensive, fun, sincere and over the top. Pat’s gift had to have come with a card made of printer paper and pencil drawings. ā€œIt’s Christmas already?! What am I going to get dad/Pat? I’ll look in my top dresser drawer and see what I can find. I hate to give up this 36 year old, Happy Meal, Mama’s Boy Otis card but I guess he’s worth itā€ Flannigan - what’s your beef with the Marist fight song? Get hit by a car man.

St. Bernadette - Tin Can
I loved the episode, and especially appreciated being transported back to the St. Bernadette Tin Can. I played basketball there (poorly) a lot of nights between about 1990 - 1995. I remember it being really cramped, pretty loud when it rained, and cold. Good times……thanks for bringing me back, and good luck coaching!

See ya at the Vic!!
Another great episode! I enjoyed you working the game ā€œSlip It Inā€ during today’s episode. Look at you two getting an episode sponsored! So proud of you both! My husband and I discovered Pat when he was hosting at Zaney’s in Rosemont a few years ago. We enjoyed him so much, we bought tickets to a show he was headlining a few months later. Unfortunately, Pat cancelled last-minute and we were stuck with somebody who was NOT Pat. We’re giving you another shot in January, Pat. You better not let us down! Thanks for making my drive to work enjoyable, you two. You both make me laugh and are a great way to start my day! Jim, stay safe! I’m worried about you! Forever a Brimley, Rabbit the Martian (that’s a Hot Dog Jefferson for you!)

Love this show!!
Followed Pat’s comedy for years but new to this podcast. Laughs every episode. But isn’t a Tough Mudder just how a Southsider says ā€œtough motherā€ ā€œhey honey how was your race? It was a tough mudderā€¦ā€. Love you guys. Keep it up.

I could never write a title as good as Jim
Recently started at the beginning and had to binge hardcore to catch up to 99. So much hate for Hannibal! But I went to Quincy Univ and I can confirm everything Jim said is true. (Also I learned to ride a motorcycle in a cemetery, very normal on the southside!) I always feel like I’m part of an inside joke when I listen. Definitely had to explain Hotdog Jefferson to my husband. Proud to be a 40% Brimley!!! Can’t wait to for the live show! And above all, thank you for being sensible and logical humans (re: covid and society in general!)

Red shirt kindergartners
You guys are so great - a highlight of my week. Have been meaning to write another review and the mention of ā€œlate birthdaysā€ in today’s episode inspired me. My kids had many classmates who were WAY more than a year older because parents routinely held their kids back, sending them to kindergarten as 6 year olds, so that they would be bigger/ more competitive in sports later on. ...Because you know, they are all going to make their living as professional athletes...

Happy to find you
Big fan of Pat’s comedy and found this podcast and now listening from the beginning. Laugh out loud funny and these two guys play so well of each other. I could do without the presidential trivia and basketball stories but I’m probably in the minority there. I love their flashbacks from childhood as a fellow child of the 80s. Thanks for this fun show! Can’t wait to see Pat with Sebastian at an upcoming show in November.

Incredible Podcast!
This is a great show. I found out about it around episode 70 and went back to listen all the way through. It's great getting to listen to Jim and Pat once a week. While I've never spent time in Chicago I feel like when I go I will know all the great spots in the city thanks to the cast. All the buffalove is also great! I'm planning to go back and listen through to review some of my favorite episodes. Really looking forward to episode 100.

100th Episode
Hey guys! Another hilarious episodes. I was so excited to hear the announcement for the Sebastian show…. And wouldn’t you know it…. My son’s high school basketball team has a game scheduled for that day. Kids… what was I thinking? But if you do a live show for your 100th, I will definitely be there! Catholic high schools don’t play on Sundays.

A dandy episode
I too am a 200th anniversary infant (insert hot dog bun here). I look forward to every Tuesday knowing I’ll be able to enjoy your hilarious banter on my walks. You guys are a hoot! Keep it real, Violet

Flash back stories
Guys -I think you are hysterical. Pat, when you talk about your kids - I can relate. I also have a Josephine aka Josie that is almost 12. The one thing that keeps me laughing is the toll booth baskets and the Easter baskets. Oh and your Costco run on Instagram - counting waffles until Christmas. Lisa from New Jersey

More fun than a dinner with Jim Parque
Such a fun show with wonderful back and forth. Like being a fly on the wall for a conversation between old friends. Jimmy is Hilarious and the other guy is funny too. šŸ˜ŽOrland Park elevator guy.

Just found this and I’m digging it
Only listened to two episodes so far. Pretty funny, although I couldn’t keep track of who was who at first, Voices are too similar. I’m also loving the no commercials, must mean you’re good but not that good yet.

Apologies
I'm the wife of Mike from Mt Greenwood and wanted to offer my apologies for the creepy review he left. That being said, we love the podcast and really hope you do another La Fiesta show so we can again listen for free from our front porch.

Rocky šŸ˜†
Grew up in a very very Italian suburb near the city. Few scattered Irish kids in the neighborhood. Definitely outnumbered. Rocky boys were everywhere. Will definitely have to watch the Pretender. Italian Stallion shirts worn by the majority of preteen boys. Pretty sure my husband might have been one of those boys. Every time Rocky comes on, he gets upset when I say no way we are not watching again. What?? It won an Oscar.

Proud Brimley!
I look forward to the return of Pat’s mom. I was hoping she would be a reoccurring character. Similar to David Letterman’s mom. You guys are awesome. I’m proud to be a Brimley! Brian G.

Thank you for all the funny podcasts. Everyone I know loves the special on Amazon. Pat thank you so much for putting on that zoom show for the 19th ward. That fundraiser was so enjoyable all the comedians were hilarious. I noticed during the zoom that pat has some seriously handsome eyes. Those eyes are made for the silver screen. Jim please watch out for cars when riding your bike. You guys are the best From Mike from Mt. Greenwood. Aka ā€œMt. Greasewoodā€.

Too Funny
I saw Pat’s special over the summer and then came across your podcast. I caught up on all of the old episodes and can’t wait for the new ones. Listening to Pat and Jim is like a weekly check in with a couple of friends. Very entertaining, though sometimes I find myself yelling at my phone when they can’t remember a fact or get something wrong. (Seriously Pat, how do you not know the seven sacraments?? You went to Catholic school your whole life!) I can’t wait for an All Over the Place live show when things get back to normal.

Tuesdays are the best day of the week!!!
Look forward to Tuesday every week because I know I will have a great laugh listening to All Over The Place with Pat and Jim. They cover all kinds of topics, it’s literally ā€œall over the placeā€ but HILARIOUS!! The banter between them keeps me smiling. I often try to think of my best ā€œHotdog Jefferson ā€œ šŸ˜‰šŸ˜‚ Highly recommend this podcast! Keep up the good work guys!! Thanks for the laughs.

Bringing Hotdog Jefferson into the classroom!
Hey Pat and Jim! Former Southsider turned Tennessee resident. You guys have been an awesome distraction after a long day teaching 11th graders US History. Love all the fun fact trivia & even started bringing the Hotdog Jefferson game into my classroom for giving kids hints to answers during a lesson. Proud moment when a kid came up with one of their own last week while talking about Jane Addams and her settlement house movement from early Chicago History: Fonda Family Values. Keep it up you guys are awesome!

Happy winter
Well just realized I have been listening to you guys for 4 seasons. Spring Summer Fall and now first day of winter. You have kept me sane through all of this. Now when the world opens up again don’t forget about the Brimley’s that need this podcast. You guys are the best! 50 year old lady in Munster Indiana. Merry Christmas

I feel like we are friends. (Please don’t think I’m pathetic.) I began this podcast in the summer and since have gone back and started from the beginning. And now I look forward to Tuesdays to get a little fill of what you two funny guys are up to. Like friends catching up each week. Also Pat’s recollection of toys, traditions, etc. from our childhood is so incredible. I’m constantly thinking - holy smokes, I completely forgot about that! And how quickly Chip (šŸ˜‰) grabs some of the Hotdog Jefferson’s can be impressive. Thank you for the weekly entertainment, friends!

Not a huge Grandma Got ran over by a reindeer
I have listened to this podcast every week since it started and look forward to it every week!! You guys are seriously hilarious and bring good times! Pat- you have to give Elf the movie another chance. It’s become a Christmas classic. Some of the best Christmas one liners. Daddy’s Home 2 with Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlburg and Mel Gibson as El Padre is actually really funny and a great movie to watch with your kids around Christmas time! Cheers guys!

Music my folks introduced me to...
My dad was into Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin & Tony Bennett, so I’ll listen them on a weekend morning with coffee. Your mention of Roy Orbison made me play Elvis instead of my usual political podcasts- really nice change of pace- great suggestion. Love the show!

Love your podcasts!
Have listened to every podcast during my daily 3 miles walk here in the woods of East Texas. Anxiously wait for Tuesdays now that you are only once a week! As a former United airlines sales person, I always loved Pat hosting our Sales meetings. Sadly, I had to retire early because of the Covid impact on the industry. Lucky though that I had 30 years and am close to retire age anyway. There was an "award" named after me that we did a very silly video about years ago that Pat hosted. I will miss your great jokes at those meetings! I have really enjoyed learning about your personal lives on the podcast. And will definitely get to a show when shows come back because I want to see Pat's act as a "magician" that his bank classified him as for the PPP. Hope Jim finds a true love one day ! Keep on keepin' on guys!
