Wow! I have LOVED this pod for years and enjoyed Steve’s work as well. It’s is unbelievable how Steve is willing to throw everything away over this Michigan scandal, and not able to report on it objectively. I have unsubscribed to this podcast as well as the Michigan podcast. This show had turned into the Iowa and Michigan show anyway. What a sad a rapid descent into madness by Steve. Sad, that this is how most people, including myself, will remember him……a paranoid man descending into madness and who deflects any and all blame onto others. Hopefully Aaron has another gig lined up.

I have loved listening to Steve for years, going back to when he and Miller were together. Great chemistry between those two. But Aaron’s constant emotional hedging against Iowa grows a little tiresome.

All of you that give this show one star due to politics and not quality of sports are acting like children. You dont have to agree with everything and everyone doesn't have to think the way you want them to think.

This is where Deace makes his living in Iowa, a trumpian, who spreads the Big Lie. Not dissimilar to Gore winning Florida in 2000 but the final vote showed Bush but was it. We all accepted the outcome, Gore thought about going to court but he like a pro he excepted the vote and Trump wasn’t even as close. He also spread the lie on Covid, yes I’m a MD and I’ve seen people come in with Covid 5 & 6 times still not understanding because they get their science from people like Deace. Did Deace condone the treasonous Dec 6 insurrection- Yep. Also Pizza Gate based on the bigotry which runs wild in my former party. I’m now an independent once I found votes were tossed in NC, FL and GA in areas in heavily populated minority counties. NC Republican operative was charged in election fraud scheme. No election in history has run perfectly, as a society we once accepted an error margin because nothing is perfect. Error margins are built into everything we do in life from Science to Technology. Even in my other major Theology, we understood the error margin with the writing of certain primary sources. Fact is to make a lot of money online, on tv and on radio, it’s who tells the loudest and speak conspiracy. Hannity isn’t an expert, he bagged groceries but he voluntary hosted a very small shows where he yelled loud and Fox heard. It doesn’t matter if the info is right, they take snippets like a pastor and turn it to the story which sells. Context matters and Deace has never provided context. In his Michigan show, his cohosts quit because of his political antics. He’s makes roughly 7 figures to scream about half truths, his football knowledge is crap which I’m sure he picked up at MSU. My other favorite big lie is the environment, the 2 biggest lobbyist speaking against the speeding up of global warming actually used to be the lobbyists for the other side before it was called climate change- it was called the greenhouse effect. If you’re looking for an honest politically free show which discusses college football - go to any other source. Deace, once fully against trump, now treats trump as demigod. Do not listen! The man has a twisted mind when it comes to politics, sports and religion- he’s flat out a liar with his Old Testament reasoning, he’s also a misogynistic and prejudiced petty little man- Oh number 4 - Jimmy this, dude had him fired in 2019. Lucky the 2020 didn’t happen or the streak may still be going.

I downloaded this podcast to listen to Big Ten football talk. Instead, I got two right wing nut jobs making tasteless jokes about a man who suffered a stroke. I immediately unsubscribed.

Steve and Aaron do a great and unbiased job and as a Buckeye fan that’s hard to say about Steve, lol. I joke, both of these guys bring the goods each and every week. They also have great segments each and every week and break down all the teams to just Xichigan and Iowa. Love these guys and never miss a show keep up the great work and GO Bucks!

This is a much needed show but it’s getting out of hand. I get it you’re a republican Michigan fan. Not every thing needs a Michigan back splash or political commentary. Just listening to the disgust in your voice when you talk about people not thinking Michigan is the best program in the conference is beyond annoying. They jumped up one year when they had 3 first rounders on defense and you’d think they’ve won a natty with how de facto you talk about them being now. We come for big ten commentary. That’s it.

If only had a clan of people, who in unison, like all my other beliefs, could leave a barrage of 5 star reviews to bring the rating up.

Steve Deace provides an in-depth analytical view of the Big 10 that you just won’t find anywhere else. Bigger Ten offers a refreshing viewpoint from all the rest of the noise in sports media. The B1G should hire this guy as a consultant.

Steve Deace is outstanding.. Don’t miss his regular podcast or his Michigan podcast as he is simply the best; and I am a die hard Buckeye fan from Columbus !

Steve always provides an incredible analysis. He is very polished, with a quick wit. He delivers a unique insight into collegiate athletics, and the powers that drive it. I’m not a Michigan fan, but would never hold that against him! Aaron, his sidekick, is soft-spoken, and seemingly a good guy. He noticeably struggles to contribute a relevant point-counterpoint to match Deace’s analytical repartee. The content flow noticeably slows down while he interjects, and he’ll usually take a long winded response to just basically agree with Steve. At times, I’ll fast forward over his comments. Overall, it’s a great listen. I highly recommend it.

Definitely an Iowa coach talking about Minnesota. Obviously a step back in the WR room from last year, but O-Line will be significantly improved. Not sure why anyone with any knowledge wouldn’t think that just by looking at the roster.

Deace lost his mind after trump lost the election and it’s a shame. He used to be insightful and now he’s a moron that lies constantly to stir up outrage. Jon Miller has Hawkeye Podcast which is awesome and Eyes on Big is decent for Big Ten content. Check those out and you won’t miss bigger ten at all.

Steve can no longer talk about anything without bringing up Michigan. They’re 1/14 of the Big Ten. They are the focal point of this show instead of just a part of it. It’s gone too far. What’s the point of the Michigan podcast. I’ve been a long time listener and supporter abs you e now lost me.

Steve Deace is a right-wing propagandist who has used this platform to spread disinformation about COVID. He knows absolutely nothing about public health or virology, but he’s so arrogant that he thinks he’s an expert at both.

Just re-found Deace. This is a must listen podcast and Deace is amazing with his takes. Bring Jon Miller back on the show as guest and will be one of the top college podcasts.

Good stuff...listening to your pod following Warren’s bungling of the schedule and the cancellation. I appreciate the perspective and thoughts on the seismic shift we’re now within.

There is no one better in the game than Deace on College Football.

This show used to be great when Jon Miller, formerly of HawkeyeNation, was creating the show with Steve Deace. Without Miller there to keep him in check, Deace injects his politics, moralizing, and smug personality into most discussions. His new co-host is just a lackey, mostly there to ingratiate himself to the host. The Twitter feed, instead of sticking to sports, resorts to politics and criticism of sportswriters - the kind that Deace probably wishes he could be. It’s unfortunate that this show has declined. It really does fill a void in media coverage of the Big Ten, so dominated by the double pom-pom, can’t-say-anything-critical-about-anyone culture of the Big Ten Network. But if I have to tune in each week to hear Deace’s political musings, self-loathing Michigan melodrama, and the sycophantic co-host, I’ll pass, as there are many other College Football pods one can enjoy.

It’s not bad. Covers all the Big10 teams, but never loses that Ann Arbor superiority. Steve Dance also still HATES the Badgers and Buckeyes. Can’t pay Badgers a compliment unless it’s a backhanded one. But when the Badgers or Buckeyes win ur’s sweet, sweet, SWEET to listen to.

Try to keep the soap opera out of sports. I listened to the Michigan Podcast for the last two years. I gave up on that for the same reason I’m giving up on this podcast. I can’t remember the last episode where Steve didn’t interject color commentary about his social and political beliefs. This is sports! Give me sports! This is coming from a Michigan fan who is a Republican.

This is good stuff. All killer no filler.

I’m a penn state fan. This is one of the only informed podcasts that talks about the big ten. Its a must listen.

It’s like watching the big ten network without all the rah rah cheer leader echo chamber. If you deserve to be praised you’re praised if you need criticism you get that too. If you want to hear how great your teams are, unless you’re an Ohio State football fan i would suggest you listen to your home town beat writers blow smoke up your tail pipe. But, if you want to know more and hear the hard truths... this is your podcast

Daece is a phenomenal with his college football analysis. Has deep knowledge of the Big10, having spent +15 years engaged in the league. He is particularly good at objectively looking at teams that he his not a fan of, like Iowa.

It’s finally here. You won’t find any better B1G analysis or research out there. I listen to a lot of podcasts and different sports radio shows throughout my day at work. Michigan Podcast with Steve Deace is among those, and it’s about time we get high quality content for a conference that is just as good and competitive as the SEC. GO BLUE!
