Unjustified is one of the podcasts I never miss. I try to listen as soon as it’s available. Allison and Andy are smart, funny, and well informed.

How is it that Trump’s new qualifying hoops are not, effectively, a poll tax? Has this not been determined to be unconstitutional? Is there any evidence that suggests that the proposed voting hoops do not require buying the right to vote? The ID itself has costs; the resolving birth names vs married names, and resolving signature equivalents each create costs of funds, time and effort to resolve. How is voting rights ignored ? Andrew is trying to sound amused and comes across entirely insincere and fawning toward his cohost. Add that to the fact that the advertisements account for almost as much airtime as the show and I'm left to wonder how I can better spend my time.

Dr. Gill and Former FBI Acting Director Andy McCabe are the Dudley DoRights I need right now. Sometimes (okay often) the headlines mislead when it comes to court cases, legal briefs, Smith Reports, DOJ shenanigans and Judicial rulings. Every week, these excellent explainers bring light and hope and give me some smarts I would not otherwise possess! There are still smart and ethical Americans who stand up for all of us. I’m grateful!!! Like many Americans, I’ve fallen on hard times. Somebody give these guys some money for both of us?

Excellent analysis

So cringey that a fourth of every MSW show is about the sandwich guy case. It may be important but there is no need to cover it as much as this and go on and on about it. Just report what happened and move on.

Listened after having previously unfollowed, when the hosts directly addressed the Comey matter (and Andy’s involvement — or lack thereof). I was glad to hear both hosts treat the matter seriously — without the lighthearted banter and not-so-funny glibness, which is why I had unfollowed. It should go without saying we’re in troubling times. So whether or not current news events are tangentially about one of the hosts, I hope they’ll continue to treat ongoing political developments with the seriousness those events deserve, without the snark. I don’t need jokes. I need dependable information and a sense that the hosts are on the same page as the rest of us wanting this difficult moment to be taken seriously. Even if the news isn’t about YOU, it’s about someone — losing one’s job, getting deported, etc.

I love how you two present everything. It’s calming during all of the terror happening daily, and helps me stay informed without destroying my soul. This is essentially my highest compliment!

Andy, no offense but a pastor called the shooter’s dad and told him a young man confessed to him who the shooter was and then the dad of the shooter called the cops. there is no le involved in figuring out it was told to them.

The only mistake Trump made was not throwing the rest of the upper management of the FBI out with McCabe and Stzrok. As far as Tyrant Jack Smith goes, he looks and acts like Fidel Castro. UPDATE: Take the “L” shtheads!!! 🤣 You can run Jack, but you can’t hide. Time to prosecute and disbar this hyper partisan unconstitutional hack. Update: Little Andy McCabe should be worried as the DOJ is going to investigate him for lying to Congress. Better start looking for another hack host as Little Andy might have his hands and mouth full in the near future.

Great content. Has become a podcast go to in the second Trump admin, but the show has SO many commercials it is insane. Way more than other podcast.

Do not listen to this podcast if you a center left or a moderate. This has extreme bias towards the left. Democrats are also breaking the law.

Just listened to your latest on the whistleblower in DOJ. Thanks for making all of these machinations easier to understand. I really appreciate your serious treatment of the subject as well as your spot-on sense of humour, both here and on Jack. I have to say, though, that Jack had the best lead-in of any podcast ever. Daily Beans’ lead-in is pretty good too. Keep up the good work! You can count on me to listen to you always from my far outpost in The Hague, Netherlands.

Have you considered changing when your podcast is recorded and released? Significant events frequently happen on Friday or Saturday and by the time you get around to discussing them a week later, the subject is often “stale”.

Please address the clause that is now in the new big beautiful Bill saying that Congress will direct judges so that they have no authority to hold the executive branch in contempt. Do they have anything like this authority to tell judges who and what they can hold in contempt?

I have listened to this show for a few years in its various forms. I really like Andy’s point of view. and I listen to Allison on other podcasts. but that’s only down to the news feature at this point. I’ve tried to hang in on this one. but frankly,Andy doesn’t seem to get as much time to do his thing as I wish he would. the long winding suppositions or maybe it’s added drama just not needed or the almost gossipy atmosphere the last year. I can’t take it anymore and so I’m out. I will continue to do quick a listen or rundown for the daily news. Good luck and I wish every success. but it’s almost not a serious commentary. Let Andy finish some thoughts,is my suggestion.

I used to work the graveyard shift at a border station in California and I’d record the pod; “Mueller she wrote” on my iPod and listen to it while manning my post. It gave me peace of mind, thank you. I love the Beans daily for some good swearing and good trouble! But “Unjustified” in my humble opine is the Best! Knowing how Andy got Screwed by the orange kid in the playground, and hearing him intelligently and calmly explain and educate us folks in the law, that’s PRICELESS! Much appreciation and gratitude!

Absolutely hilarious and spot on with the Signal joke. I played sports growing up and vast majority of athletes followed the rules. Not because the rules themselves were loved by the players, but without the rules players knew the game would devolve. Often said when the rules themselves become a tough teaching point, “Don’t hate the player, hate the game.” Implying make up your own game, make those rules, and players will try it. Until then, follow the rules so we can play the game instead of battle over it. Some people never played enough sports growing up, sports deserves it’s own academic umbrella to include sports history, fundamentals, cultures, sports creation, games, etc. P.S. Comedy should have its own academic umbrella as well. Let the kids have fun while they learn.

From MSWs inception, I listened weekly to the mysterious, insightful and very funny AG & Co., breathing in their delicious imagery of Red Queenery and baboonish tweedle-dumb-dumbers with growing awareness of just how deep the rabbit hole goes. Until, I find I’m a grateful junkie! But to fully understand events today, listen to 2016-19 podcasts. As you dive into the looking glass, what once seemed mad as a hatter will become crystal clear.

While I have been crying my way through some of these lately, I’m so grateful to have the facts of the law (and the alphabet soup of the FBI) explained in such clear and competent ways each week. I listened to Jack each week and am so glad AG and Andy are continuing…we so need your invaluable pod work!
