026 Just Listen
This episode is dedicated to Nikki Paris. Angela recommends imagining yourself as the subject of cheesy love songs; possibly being serenaded by a higher power… or by yourself, or whomever you love most. Her favorite is Simple Man by Lynyrd Skynyrd, although Aly notes that doesn’t appear to be a love song. Aly’s always had a thing for break-up songs rather than love songs, so this idea is especially challenging for her. She should probably call Better Help for assistance. Aly recommends keeping in mind that everything you hear is passed through the filters of your own experience, so try not to read too much into what you think you hear. Thanks to Leah Finkelstein and Heather Stewart  for the spectacular didgeridoo performances!
