10Weeks is back and better than ever! This quarter we're exploring Bruin Creators-- these are your theater majors, hobbyist artists, film enthusiasts.  For Week 1 we sit down with Soraya Saghbini, a second year here at UCLA who is passionate about art. From custom skateboards to pieces featuring recycled materials, Soraya expresses herself creatively through many different means. 

When you change home countries every three years, one of the most important traits you can have is adaptability. Before coming to UCLA, Yukta Trivedi lived all over Southeast Asia. From learning new languages, to assimilating to new customs, and trying out new foods, Yukta is ready to face any new challenge. 

Building and maintaining relationships require effective discourse and intentional listening. In a world where millennial are reporting a higher rate of loneliness than ever, and where polarization seems to be ever increasing, what we need is more active listening and discourse. Ryan Ang, a native of Singapore and our guest for Week 6, puts this initiative in practice. 

Panama. It's the gateway between the East and the West. The link between the North and South Americas. And home to the Panama Canal, one of the most famous feats of human engineering. This week, Nitya Mehta, native of Panama and Global Studies major here at UCLA shares her stories and experiences from living in "the Hub of the World."

Straight out of New Delhi....  crazy guest named Hari Narayan! India is a mixing pot of different, yet surprisingly similar cultures, languages, and traditions. With different states having completely different written and spoken languages. To the sheer variety of spices and ingredients used in Indian Cooking. As a Southern Indian by blood living in Northern India, Hari was in the middle of it all. 

Picture this: The most fragrant, delicious plate of Thai food you have ever seen. Or imagine spending every day surrounded by fences in a closed compound. Or suppose you had to fly to an entirely different country just for toilet paper! This week we sit down with Elena Maneffa, a true "child of the world." Australia, Thailand, Kazakhstan, Venezuela, Argentina, and now the United States, she's lived in more countries than most of us have even dreamt of visiting! 

South America really is the place to be! Beaches, Football/Soccer, rich culture ... the list goes on and on.  This week we sit down with Pietro Mendes, an international student who lived in three Latin American countries before coming to UCLA. He's now involved at the Dashew center on campus as an international ambassador for Argentina. 10 Weeks is back! And this season, we're "Going International!"  For Week 1, we're sitting down with Ege Tanboga. Ege is an international student from Turkey, and probably one of the inspiring people you could ever meet! In the episode, we learn about his incredible story of how he came to UCLA as well as his current commitments to the Art of Charm podcast/bootcamp in LA.

S19E3: Maya Dittloff It's Week 10. This week we sit down with Maya Dittloff she's a graduating cinematography and film major here at UCLA and currently working on Perma Red, a pilot TV show about the Native American women.
