Brilliant
Fear is a human condition. It’s an uncomfortable emotion and can be based in fact or a fiction we have concocted or base instinct. Hearing about the fears of others, no matter what they are based on, is a comforting and cathartic experience. Somehow, these podcasts bring my fears into a more navigable maze of pitfalls. Short, succinct, and imminently listenable.

A couple at a time
I really like these. Its a novel idea and it makes me think. I wish I was more superficially scared like some of these people. I am glad I am not as paranoid as others. Some I was unnerved by how dead on they were to me. I dont really binge. I found one or two triggering so I take them as they come out.

Some are good
I like the episodes with comics or actors who I know.

Just the best
This podcast is such a treat. I look forward to seeing it in my feed. It’s so human and profound: so much impact delivered in a handful of minutes of radio.

it’s good
I could listen to people talk about their fears all day. Actually, I did.

Instantly Hooked
Frankly, I don’t know what makes this show so mesmerizing—the engaging sound production and music? The poignant, raw, funny, heartbreaking fears? The candor and guts of the speakers? I really don’t know, but I fell in love within minutes. Thank you.

Brilliant.
Totally binging this podcast. I am fascinated to listen to other humans’ fears, and to feel how unique and yet together we are.

Perfect Bite Sized Nuggets of Connection
Great snippets that serve as windows into the lives of others. Many of their fears are my own...and I feel less lonely knowing that.

Ten things
Love Ten Things. I feel connected to other people’s inner fears and oddly that’s comforting.

Great stuff
This morning podcast makes me think and smoke and laugh out loud! Amazing

Really wanted to like it.
Looked forward to this but the best I can muster is meh. Hard to identify the problem. One issue is the soundtrack. It seems very disjointed with the sound bites very abrupt and even noisy. Get the feeling this is on purpose but it doesn’t work for me. Also, each episode is sooo short...too short. Seven minutes including the intro and commercial is like very rushed.

This is so beautiful
I’m so happy I found this podcast. I have always had a terrible time admitting vulnerability,—even feeling it, let alone admitting it exists. I’m going to say what my 10 things are that scare me. Thanks for thinking of this!!

Similarities
We are all so similar. It’s comforting to know that we all are scared little children.

Relatable to the human experience
I love this podcast! Everyone who comes on the show has a fear that I can relate to. Some episodes are funny, some are sad, all of them are delightful.
The Wonderfully Awesome Me
Weakened my fear of being fragile
I feel much less alone in my constant, low-level dread of collapse from anxiety (and less worried that I have completely gone off the rails by way of the hyper-vigilant, doomsday-preparation-like streamlining of every aspect of my life that I have embraced while waiting for an attack that will likely never come).

I was brought to tears by his singing. And as a 57 year old -I loved hearing the fears of “getting older.”

Fun and different
Really enjoying this quirky little podcast. It’s a window into other people’s psyches that makes me want to get to know more people. Good balance of whimsy and seriousness, and a slightly meditative vibe.

We’re all together
It’s nice to know other people feel the same as I do.

When you get it you'll understand
I love this odd little podcast, cannot get enough. Since the first episodes I'm hooked, perhaps because nothing unites us more than our fears, and I've felt connected to every one of the contributors (except Anthony Scaramucci). The best part is the music -- I could listen to a lot more of the compositions of Isaac Jones. Highly recommended!

5 minutes I will never get back
Why is this a show?

It was going so well and then....
There was the Trisha Hope episode. Listen, y’all talk about equality and not being bigoted racist but T**** is a racist and you give platforms to his followers, especially a woman who claims to have been a part of the #MeToo movement yet defend Brent K. I guess that’s “voting/voicing against your own interests”. UNSUBSCRIBED!!! And to think that I was going to donate! Never.

The perfect podcast
This is the only podcast I don’t speed up to listen to. It’s worth savoring.

I’m not the craziest scared person
This show gives you comfort knowing you’re not the only one with illogical fears and real ones, too.

Scary Seems To Be Differing Opinions & Beliefs
Such a great concept but so poorly executed. Instead of fears, you get people whining about things they disgree with or differing concepts they don't want to exist. Nothing more than an single throated echo chamber of liberals -- there may be other viewpoints, but I never heard one out of the 20 episodes I listened to. If you want confirmation of a single worldview -- you will enjoy this. If you expected to hear realthings that scared people -- sorry, not here.

Intimate & Fascinating
This show is helping me acknowledge my own fears in a way that is not scary. It’s helping me understand people better and I absolutely love it.

Enrapturing
This is perhaps the greatest podcast ever produced. It has all of the emotion and vulnerability of an hour and a half long interview podcast and enthralling sound design all in just four to seven minutes.

I love that this podcast is going out of its way to talk to people from all walks of life to show how similar we all really are. Everyone has fears, and instead of hiding them this podcast is using them to unite us. Seriously good stuff; keep it up!

Relatable
I enjoy relating to some people’s fears and enjoy hearing other people’s perspectives. Keep it up!

The host is right, listening to other people’s fears is fascinating. The audio is really interesting, I’ve never gotten bored of listening to this podcast, and it definitely makes me feel less alone

Reminder
I’m reminded that I am not just one person that anything happens to. It’s good to know a lot of us have the same fears. Thanks for sharing everyone.

Exceptional
Short, simple, and nonpartisan, “10 Things that Scare Me” brings in voices of all backgrounds and beliefs to create a telling portrait of the national moment.

Honest, intimate - a refreshing peek into human consciousness
Can't stop binge listening to this podcast - I rarely write reviews but I felt compelled to here. How does storytelling feel so tidy and yet open up so many pockets of thinking at the same time? 10 things that scares me boils down each guest's moments with expert editing and sound design. When I listen to this podcast, I know I'm not alone in all of the universal fears I have - as well as my idiosyncratic ones. We are all scared of something, and maybe sharing it makes it a little less scary.

A Gem
Each episode is a short-cut to the fascinating inner world of a different person. This podcast is a succinct and wonderful way to explore and ponder being human. The sound design is quirky and enjoyable. I find silence richer just after an episode ends. “10 Things...” has quickly become one of my favorite podcasts.

Unique
I love listening to how different , yet similar we all fear!
Daizylady
It makes me less scared to know I’m not alone with my own fears.
Thanks for creating such a smart, inventive and deeply intimate platform for people to share their vulnerabilities, their secrets, and their humanity in roughly five minutes. Bring on the fear!

Powerful listening
Fascinating and brilliant. My fear is that this program will not be sufficiently funded to go justifiably viral. I am facing my fear by donating to the podcast.

Great idea
Love the concept. The guests that are transparent about their real thoughts (the vast majority of them) are revealing, funny and interesting. Keep it up!

Wonderful
Funny, profound, touching, entertaining, humanizing!

Vulnerable and real confessions. Celebrates our humanity.
It's encouraging to see that we all have vulnerabilities. These are conversations with the mask off. These brief podcasts reenforce the notion that 'we're all in this together'.
